There are several hobby clubs like music club, sports club etc. There are state unions run by the students of that particular state to help the new students get familiar with the institute and celebrate various festivals away from home.

There are many fest organised in the campus , Namely RACAF which is organised on the end of October or mostly during the 1st week of November. GENERAL FRESHERS MEET (August) , SYNERGY(sports week) February, SRISHTI (Techno Fest) April.

Life at campus, as I explained we get diverse student here, from all over the place but the interesting thing is every one is a friend, you dont need to fear for anything until you are the culprit. Campus is pretty big and it has enough space to play any sport and roam in peace.

Life on campus is vibrant , dynamic and offers a perfect balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The college has a diverse student body, and there’s always something happening whether it’s a cultural event, a sports competition or a social gathering.

the life at campus is excellent. their are many fests which are conducted in our college but their are three main events. racafsynergy which is a sports event. shristi which is a technical event.

Life at campus is over all good but in some case there are bad side of campus like there is no discipline inside the hostel especially for boys. Discipline should be improve and authority should be more active in this regard. There are many festival inside the campus like Racaf, synergy are the main program. Books availability are good enough in the library and there are many good book available in the central Library.

The worst thing here is the hostels. For boys there are two types of hostel, i.e. Brahmaputra hostel and common boys hostel. The brahmaputra hostel is for freshers, new admissions, who will be given princess treatment for a year or something and after that boom they will drop you here at the common boys hostel. In this hostel if get a good room which rarely exist, then it's fine otherwise most of the rooms here are very bad. Broken windows, broken walls, many rooms have leaks, no proper wiring, worst toilets and bathrooms with broken doors, leaking taps and on top of this no bulbs too ????????? Even the public toilet will be better. The wardens are more like money eater fatsos.

I experienced a lot of college fests and events taking place, soon as we enter in the college, general freshers meet takes place in August, the department freshers meet too in August - September, then cultural fest called Racaf in October - November of 3-4 days, sports meet in February, Technical festival called Shristi in April. A lot of books a available in the library for the students to come and issue on their name for free. We have music club, gym, hobby club, robotics club and many more such groups in the college.

The campus is clean And in the odd sem the cultural fest is conducted in September -Oct and in the even semester the outdoor activities are conducted. Abd NERIST has a central library and the quality of the library is decent.

The campus is full of greenery. The weather is also quite good here. You will see a lot of rain if u love rain and chilled weather you're gonna love it. The campus is quite big enough. There are parks also our college is still under construction. A lot of work is still going on side by side. Even we got a new football ground which u will not see in another college I say. If u r a sports person u have a lot of things to explore here. You can play all the sports like badminton, table tennis, cricket, football, volleyball, basketball and even more. Even the college has tennis court but it's no longer in use.
