The factors that made me choose this college are :- 1. It is not so expensive. 2. It has good environment for everything, for example if someone wants to play some sport then he can play, if someone wants to study then he can study. 3. The College is seperate from the outer world because it has its own campus and this benefit students to have very less interaction with traffic and stuffs. And there is more reasons to join like it got diverse family, many northeast students study here, We get students from all over the india and specially from all states of northeast.

Read Full ReviewThe placements here is pretty average. They do bring big companies like Tata Projects, Vedanta Mining, OIL India Ltd. and L&T. They do bring other small non technical companies too. For placements if you are in the top 5 of your class then your life is set.
You get to do professional engineering course directly after 10th standard. On top of that it's in North east so the nature here is very clean and peaceful. The fees are also cheap and you get a lot of time to explore other things too along with your academic course.
Read Full ReviewThe campus placement was good before covid time, but after that it's not so good, but yet some good companies come and recruit from the campus like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Nepco, Oil india limited, Vedanta and many more. To be eligible for campus placement, a person should maintain atleast 7 CGPA throughout the course and should not have any active backlogs. I am planning to do mtech from an IIT for which I am preparing for gate exam.
The entry in this college starts from class 11th itself due to which I didn't need to focus on JEE and directly entered the college, though an exam is conducted for this by the institute itself, and the centers are available in all the parts of northeast India.

In Nerist, there is one midterm exam of 30 marks an end term of 50 marks, and 20 marks for the quiz. In nerist, the pg hostel fee is nearly 110 rupees per day, and per semester 8000 rupees, and a hostel is compulsory.
I choose NERIST because of its strong academic reputation, as well as its focus on providing a well-rounded education that includes extracurricular activities and character development. Yes, I faced a written test for admission.
Read Full ReviewCourse curriculum is like you can do B-Tech either in mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics and communication, computer science, and agriculture. These are the only six branches in which B-TECH is offered here. U can also pursue a BSC in Forestry here. That's a different scope. Exams are held on time based on the academic calendar and in each semester mid term and end term are conducted. The toughness of the question paper is not so much. You can easily pass but here the environment is not too evolved around academics so if u don't want to study too much u can join. But don't except too much about the academics other things are good only. Faculty are also easily approachable. You can contact them directly that's the best thing I can say about this college.
You can enter this college by taking the entrance exam NEE I after the 10th, NEE II after the 12th, And NEE III after the diploma. You can either join through JEE also. There is no interview just an entrance test and the seats are very limited you need to attend the counseling session if you pass the entrance test. The weather is very good here not so hot nor so cold. But ya sometimes it is. Campus is filled with greenery and the library is quite big enough you can use it as per your convenience. It's open most of the time. Here the main thing is the fest and cultural activities. These are the things which keep happening most of the time inside the college.
