I have opted for unpaid internship for my summer internship in Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre , Kolkata under the Department of Atomic Energy . Though unpaid, this internship gave me a great opportunity exposure to various topics.

Various companies comes for placement in NERIST but many of which don’t provide a proper package most number of them provide around 3-4 LPA. Since this companies are mass recruiters so more than 50% of the students gets placed

They provided me the internship in NIELIT as python developer. There I worked on python from scratch and they helped me gain knowledge and then I worked on projects like Inventory management and Solar Tracking system and they are reallly friendly. I also worked on Encrypting data and decrypting it.

I optep for internship in Oil India, Duliajan. It was quite fun there. Here you do get lots of opportunities for internships. You will get to do in IIT Guwahati, Oil India, or even in NEPCO Power Plant, Arunachal Pradesh. If you got to big companies for internship, you don't get to do project much, it's more like exploring the existing stuffs there in the company but if you go for internship in college like IIT Guwahati, then you get to do real project over new things.

Yes I did an internship recently in IIT Delhi, it was a 2 months internship in which my domain was machine learning and worked for the topic related to neuroscience, I was completely new to this so learnt a lot while completing the project.
