Established in 1967 as the 15th Regional Engineering College, NIT Silchar is AICTE, UGC, MHRD approved, and NBA accredited. Offered in 6 specialisations, BTech is a popular course here. Admissions are granted based on the candidate’s JEE Main Scores, followed by the JoSAA Counselling.
