Right now i don't have any internship but you get a lot of internship opportunities here at the National Institute Of Technology Silchar, The work here by the placement team is excellent, and get you with many great opportunities

Placement is good last year highest placement is cse branch was 78 LPA which is very good. My branch is electronics and instrumentation engineering and the highest package was 54 lpa which is also good and very good.

Many renowned companies come to college like google, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Nvidia, Intel, AMD etc. The companies come for freshers so they do not specify the roles however they consist of software developer, Hardware designer etc.

No i haven't opted for many internships but intern ships are great in our college because of brand and that brand name is nit so you can a good numbers of decent internships but not great internships depends on skills so really can't say much about it

To get the internship firstly there are some criteria like cgpa. Stipend in the internship depends upon individual skill. Students get intern in renowned companies like Flipkart,L and T. Some students crack gate exam in third year and di intern in fourth year in Drdo,Baarc like places.

Yes I did an internship in Northeast Frontier Railways, in Tinsukia division, but it was off campus. I learnt about the different types of coaches and I also learnt about the electrification of railway lines.

Ye i have opted for internship at delhi metro rail corporation.Many companies like vedanta,technip,sap labs ,Jswetc come for internship.They offer stipend of 40-50 k per month.My project was underground metro construction,where i have to learn and contribute in design and preparation of schedule.

Nope, I am just a first year but what I have listened from my seniors is that many companies too visit for the internship but obviously the competition is high and those with extra skills are at ease . You have opportunities to participate in hackathon. The stipend offer vary from company to company.
