Delhi University UG Admission 2026 is for 71,624 seats in 73 programmes offered by 69 colleges. CUET UG 2026 score is the only merit base for admission, and students must also complete CSAS UG registration after the CUET result.
CSAS-UG has three main stages. Students first register, then choose programme-college preferences, and finally accept the allotted seat if they receive one.
Students must pass Class 12 from a recognised board. Many BA Hons and B.Sc Hons courses also need specific subjects. Class 12 marks are checked for eligibility only and are not used for merit ranking.
| Programme | Minimum Eligibility | Selection Basis |
|---|---|---|
| BA Hons (all subjects) | Class 12 pass; subject-specific requirement applies | CUET UG score in relevant subject |
| B.Sc Hons (Science) | Class 12 with PCM or PCB; subject requirement applies | CUET UG score in science subjects |
| B.Com Hons | Class 12 with Mathematics or Applied Mathematics | CUET UG score; Mathematics mandatory |
| ECA Supernumerary | Valid CUET UG score; achievement certificate in eligible window | 75% trial or performance; 25% CUET score |
| Sports Supernumerary | Valid CUET UG score; recognised sports achievement | 75% sports trial; 25% CUET score |
Seats in CSAS-UG are allotted by matching the student's CUET UG 2026 rank with the programme-college choices filled in the preference list. Central government reservation rules are followed for all eligible categories.
Key Insight: DU applies a strict CUET subject rule. A student must take CUET UG only in Class 12 subjects. If a student chooses an unrelated subject, DU can reject the application for that programme even if NTA allowed the subject in CUET.
FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2026 is for 289 seats in the Full-Time MBA programme. For the 2026-28 batch, 2,023 candidates were called for Personal Interview from more than 30,000 applicants.

Applicants must have a graduation degree. General and EWS candidates need at least 50% marks. OBC-NCL, EWS and PwD candidates need 45%, while SC and ST candidates need passing marks.
| Category | Graduation Requirement | Entrance Exam |
|---|---|---|
| General | Minimum 50% marks | CAT 2025 (mandatory) |

| SC and ST | Pass marks in graduation | CAT 2025 (mandatory) |
| CW (Armed Forces) | 5% relaxation in minimum marks | CAT 2025 (mandatory) |
FMS Delhi prepares the shortlist using a composite CAT score. The weightage is VARC 40%, DILR 30% and QA 30%. Female candidates get 5 extra marks during shortlisting.
| Category | CAT Percentile Floor |
|---|---|
| General | 99 percentile and above |
| EWS and OBC-NCL | 91 percentile and above |
| SC | 75 percentile and above |
| ST | 60 percentile and above |
The final merit list gives 50% weightage to CAT score, 10% each to Class 10 and Class 12 marks, 10% to SOP, 5% to Extempore and 15% to Personal Interview. Female candidates get another 5 bonus marks at the final selection stage.

For the three-year LLB course, Campus Law Centre and affiliated colleges use a separate DU entrance test.
| Programme | Minimum Eligibility | Selection Basis |
|---|---|---|
| BALLB Hons (5-year) | Class 12 with minimum 45% (40% for SC, ST, and PwBD) | CLAT 2026 UG score |
| BBA LLB Hons (5-year) | Class 12 with minimum 45% (40% for SC, ST, and PwBD) | CLAT 2026 UG score |
| LLB 3-year (CLC) | Graduation with minimum 45% marks | DU LLB Entrance Test |
BALLB and BBA LLB seats are allotted only through CLAT 2026 UG score. DU does not conduct a separate counselling process for these 60 integrated law seats.

Delhi University PG Admission 2026 covers two-year MA, M.Sc, M.Com and related postgraduate courses in departments and colleges. Students must take CUET PG conducted by NTA and then register through CSAS-PG.
A graduation degree from a recognised university is the basic requirement. Some courses also ask for relevant subjects at the graduation level. Admission merit is prepared from CUET PG score only, and graduation marks are not used for ranking.
| Programme Group | Minimum Eligibility | Selection Basis |
|---|---|---|
| MA (Humanities and Social Sciences) | Graduation in a relevant discipline | CUET PG score |
| M.Sc (Sciences) | Graduation with relevant science subjects | CUET PG score |
| M.Com | B.Com or equivalent graduation | CUET PG score |
CSAS-PG allotment depends fully on CUET PG 2026 scores. Central government reservation rules apply. After results, students submit their preferences on pgadmission.uod.ac.in.
Delhi University students may apply for central, state and college-level scholarships while studying. The main schemes include the following:
Ques. Do students need CUET UG for DU undergraduate admission?
Ans. Yes. For 2026-27 UG admission at Delhi University, a valid CUET UG 2026 score is compulsory. Board marks or direct admission are not used for allotment. Students must also complete registration on the CSAS UG portal after appearing in CUET.
Ques. Is there a fixed CUET cutoff for top Delhi University colleges?
Ans. DU does not announce one fixed cutoff percentile. Allotment changes with CUET score, selected programme, college preference order in CSAS and the number of applicants. Popular courses such as B.Com Hons at SRCC usually have very strong competition.
Ques. How are students selected for the FMS Delhi MBA programme?
Ans. FMS first prepares a shortlist from the CAT composite score with VARC at 40%, DILR at 30% and QA at 30%. Female applicants receive 5 bonus marks. Shortlisted students attend SOP discussion, Extempore and PI. The final score uses CAT 50%, Class 10 marks 10%, Class 12 marks 10%, SOP 10%, Extempore 5% and PI 15%.
Ques. Can students get direct admission or management quota seats at DU?
Ans. No. Delhi University does not have management quota seats. Admission to UG, PG, MBA and law programmes is done through merit and centralised admission systems only. DU colleges do not offer donation-based or back-door admission.
Ques. Are final-year students allowed to apply for Delhi University admission?
Ans. Yes. Class 12 students in their final year can take CUET UG and register on CSAS. Their admission may be provisional until they submit final marksheets within the college deadline. Final-year graduation students can also apply conditionally for PG courses.
Ques. What is the seat intake for DU integrated law courses?
Ans. The Faculty of Law has 60 integrated law seats for 2026-27. BALLB Hons has 30 seats and BBA LLB Hons has 30 seats. Admission is based only on CLAT 2026 UG score, and applications are submitted at law.uod.ac.in.
Ques. What happens under Delhi University ECA quota admission?
Ans. The ECA supernumerary quota has 1,370 seats in 14 categories such as music, dance, drama and fine arts. Final selection gives 75% weightage to the ECA trial or audition and 25% to CUET UG score. Certificates must fall between May 1, 2023 and April 30, 2026. Students apply through CSAS and pay INR 100 for each quota category.
Ques. What fee is charged for DU CSAS UG registration?
