in january savyaas inter college fest or competition used to happen and before janmashtami UMANG and a lot of small events used to happen from time to time , and NIT GOA has collaborated with SPIE and with TEDx (recently) we have mostly all the books for our syllabus in the Library from where we can issue books accordingly. in classroom we have bench(table, chair attached) projector, speaker , blackboard with chalk and duster. in campus we can play badminton, volleyball, basketball in their respective field with indoor games like carrom, table tennis, chess etc. there are groups for each and every sport as well as for cultural events.

We have Saavyas in the even semester in the month of Feb or March. Where people from different colleges and and participate in various technical and cultural competitions like dancing, singing, poetry, robo race, quiz, technical debates, Games, Fasion Show and many more PRASAG which is organised in the month of OCT in this event competitions are organised between branches Apart from Fests. The college celebrates all the festivals grandly Diwali, dussera, Holi, Pongal, Onam and other festivals Library has all the required books for the academics students can borrow book for 15days Every month 1 or 2 sports competitions are organised like football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, Basketball etc There are many clubs Photography, Music, dance, film club, EBSB all these clubs are active and organise events, fun activities frequently Apart from clubs each department has there own association which are very active and organise events, fun activities, webinars, Workshops etc.

The annual fest conducted by NIT Goa is SAAVYAS. Some more events are conducted in NIT GOA such as Prasang (Inter department competitions), Umang( On Navratri), Ganesh Chathurthi and other festivals like Onam, and Diwali with full enthusiasm.

All students are given single occupancy rooms from the very first year, the room includes a bed, table, and chair with a cupboard and a paid laundry facility on each floor. There are not many PGs available near the new campus and students either stay at PGs 2 km away or in the nearby city of Madgaon. The hostel registration process is simple and includes paying fees at the online portal and mailing the warden for room allotment.
