As far as I know the internship programs all start from third year onwards and since I'm a first year person I haven't much knowledge in that. But I heard the internship programs are very well organised with help from alumin and funds given from ISRO. I have seen some seniors already working on such things and facilities are also guiding them.

Most of the people get the internship at different centers of ISRO as it is easily reachable to us. But there is no stipend provided for ISRO internship. There are more companies like Accenture(offers 50K per month) and Texas Instruments(offers 60k per month).
