LPU Hostel Fees 2026

Lovely Professional University offers well-equipped hostels separately for boys and girls. Lovely Professional University hostel fees, including room and meal details, are tabulated below:

Hostel Fee Structure

Early Decision Benefit (EDB): Applicable until 30 June 2026. After this date, hostel charges will increase by INR 10,000 in all categories.

Hostel Facilities

• ​Dormitories: Air cooler in each room, common washroom on each floor with geyser, bed, study table, chair, partitioned almirah, free vehicle parking.
• Standard Rooms (Air Cooled / Air Conditioned): Air Conditioner/Air Cooler (as applicable), attached washroom with geyser, bed with mattress, study table, chair, partitioned almirah, free vehicle parking.
• Studio Apartments: Air Conditioner, attached washroom with geyser, bed with mattress, study table, chair, almirah, permission to use electrical gadgets up to 5 Amp per apartment, pantry (subject to availability), free vehicle parking.
  • Note: Air-cooled rooms are equipped with an individual air cooler.
• Common Facilities for All Hostellers: 24×7 security services, CCTV surveillance, electricity backup, water supply, medical assistance (medicines and tests on payment), staff assistance, Wi-Fi, study room, TV room, purified drinking water, lift facility, fire fighting system, maintenance services, playgrounds, dedicated parking, free electricity units (as applicable), mess services (paid), laundry services (paid), departmental store (paid), cafeteria (paid), salon for boys (paid), printing and photocopy shops (paid), guest rooms (paid), car wash facility (paid), shopping mall (paid), tuck shops (paid).

Important Information

• Hostel accommodation is generally allotted for one academic session (approximately 10 months). A 12-month stay may be provided on request at additional cost.
• Short-term hostel allotment (one semester/even term) is available only for eligible programmes of 5 months or less.

• Students may use electrical items such as:

  • Laptop
  • Mobile charger
  • Electric kettle
  • Electric iron
  • Hair dryer
  • Hair straightener
  • Trimmer/Shaving kit
• Studio apartments with pantry also permit the use of an induction cooktop.
• LPG, kerosene and other combustible fuels are strictly prohibited.
• Indoor stadium members must bring their own sports equipment (e.g., badminton racket, squash racket, swimming costume, etc.).
• Bedding kit (Quilt, Bedsheet, Pillow & Pillow Cover) is available at an additional cost of INR 3,000.

Mess Charges

Students opting for the university mess plan receive:

• Packed breakfast for early classes
• Lunch near the academic block
• Soft meals during illness
• Birthday and festival celebrations
• Special menus during fasting periods
• Surprise menus

Mess Policy

• Mess plan is generally allotted for one academic session (approximately 10 months).
• Students may either opt for the university mess or arrange meals independently.
• Cuisine options include North Indian, South Indian and Regional cuisine (subject to availability).
• Certain cuisines are available only at designated locations.
• Availability depends on the minimum number of students opting for the plan.
