For placement the eligibility is decided by the companies and their is a written exam before the interviews which is to be qualified. JpMorgan, infosys, etc are companies whoch hire from here, obviously expected from an IIT

The eligibility criteria for placement in our college is to have a minimum CGPA of 5.5 and many companies offers placement and internships with the involvement of Career Development Cell(CDC) which approaches the companies. Average package is about 16 lakhs per annum and highest is about 60 lakhs per annum.

The college contains the committee called as Career Development Cell(CDC) that accounts for placement and internships provided to students. The placement data is only available for branches like mechanical, computer science and electrical as they are the oldest branches and not for newer branches like civil and chemical because they started in 2022. The average package is about 16 lakhs per annum and about 70 percent students placed.

Placement of the last year was verry terrible. 69 percent of the students were unplaced till the end of April end. Texas Instrument, Arista, Accenture etc visited out college last year. Highest package was around 45 lakhs and average was around 12 lakhs. I will try for the placement

Campus placements are being offered here. Approximately 53 out of 200 registered were placed and still the placement drive is going on and some people webt for higher studies. Different companies put certain cpi as their eligibility criteria. Google, meta and Amazon like top companies visit IIT Dharwad and the highest package went to even 1 crore per annum but in this year it was 48lpa. Almost 30-40%students are being placed here. The plan after getting degree is to get experience by job.

There are no good placements or jobs so far because of it is third generation campus and also there is recession running these days so we have to search for them from online or we will try off campus placements

Placements are quite good. Last year my batch has a placement percentage about 80%.A very few were gone for the interns . 2 or 3 Start ups are down by the students. Compared to the many other colleges our college has good placement rate and packages.

The placement and job opportunities here at IIT Dharwad are not that good. Being is a third-generation IIT that has just recently started. The eligibility criteria is to have a minimum of 8 CGPA to sit for the campus placement. Amazon, Google, Nvidia, Microsoft and other famous MNCs all of them come to our institute. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average is around 22 LPA. Around 50 per cent of the students get placed here and the others try for off-campus placements and higher studies. My plan after getting a degree is to do my Master's outside India and then look for a job or start my own company.

to be eligible for placement, students must maintain a GPA above 6.5 and in the case of internship 7, on a scale of 10. Additionally, they should have no backlogs and must be good in communication skills. Some of the notable college recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture which offer roles in software development.
