It is an IIT so the admission process is simple. Study, write JEE Mains qualify, Write JEE Advance and get a below 16k rank so as to get a seat. Why I took this college is because it is what I got in my Counselling, and it being an IIT makes it a Tier 1 college so anyday over the local state colleges. For different courses the rank cutoff is different , like for BS it was 16k For Cs it strated from 4k and qent till 6k and so on. Everything is good , a little new IIT so you wont find cafès and extreme luxury but we have canteen and other good facilities and the luxury coming up soon. And education is the best aspect in my opinion

the factors were the admission that is JEE advanced and clear the cutoff after the as per score your college will alloted to you there will different cutoff for (SC,ST) but the process will be same for all.

The only criteria to enter IIT Dharwad is to get a good rank in JEE Advance. Also you can entered with a low rank. The facilities are good as compared to being a newer IIT. the college is in development and will shine in future. The Hostel, mess, library, gymkhana are very good but i personally don't like the absence of outdoor sports grounds.

For admission in IIT's, there is exam Jee advanced and for appearing in this exam you have to first clear jee mains and for this I prepare at my own and from some online platform which provide guidance and study material for competition exams like PW, Unacademy etc.. After this there are counselling rounds conducted by josaa based on category and air college is allot to particular.

Opportunity for the research work and placement report when i entered the college. Placement ratio of last year very terrible 69% of student were unplaced in the April end. You have to appear for the Jee advanced for getting admission in the college.

I was enrolled in computer science and engineering and as the field is rapidly growing. There is a huge demand for CSE in IIT Dharwad and as i was interested to pursue only CSE i joined in IIT Dharwad according to my rank. I just wrote jee mains and jee advance and applied for josaa and landed in CSE IIT Dharwad. The college has very extraordinary faculty in CSE Department and it has very less lecture hours per week and it gives students more time to learn on their own. Maybe the bad aspects could be like the mess food is average and there are very less events being conducted here when compared to other iits. The admission process is like after qualifying in jee advanced we need to apply for josaa and after the seat allotment process we need to appear for both online and physical registration after which our admission is done. The cut off for CSE ews is like around 900's and i consulted advice from many people and my school helped me to do choice filling in josaa.

I had qualified JEE advance exam to select for this college. I got 4509 rank in OBC category so I got mechanical engineering here. And I choose this because of IIT is itself a brand. This is the main reason I chose this college .

To get into IIT DHARWAD you need crack JEE Advance exam . I think the cut of around 110 marks in JEE Advance exam. College has great infrastructure but poor facilities related to sports. Faculty is quite good.

Our college is very good in infrastructure perspective basically I have intersted in computer science and engineering and we had various tests on getting admission through Jee mains and jee advanced basically it will be on rank

After giving one of the world's toughest exams 'JEE Mains' and 'JEE Advanced', I secured a rank of 4500. Being a general category student gives me the option of choosing first and second-generation IITs with a branch compromise or a third-generation IIT with Computer Science. I am passionate about Computer Science and I also live in Bangalore so IIT Dharwad became my natural choice. Overall the campus experience is good. Although it is still in the process of construction, all the facilities a student desires are present here. The bad aspect I would say is the placements and internships which are not at par with the top IITs but are decent enough.
