I completed my first year and now I'm in the second year, third semester so the placement experience of mine is little less. But I heard from the seniors that the college offers good placements. After some days I'm going to have my internships. It is easy to get internships here, the mentorship programs are always going on. I heard that the average package is like between 5 to 6 LPA. I'm planning to complete my graduation with good marks and then MSc. , PhD etc.
I was confused after 12th board that what course I should pursue, I like physics so one day I searched in Google for best college's in India for physics and it showed Xt. Xavier's somewhere I guess. So I did research about it and I found that it's quite good. When I visit the college also i found it has a great environment for study, So I decided to study in Xavier's. For my course there was no Written exams, the addmission was based on the 12th board result.

If I score more than 90% marks in class 12 then I can get admission in this college. Cut off is around 90% for CBSE 85% for WB and 88% for ISC.. One can get admission in this clg only if he have taken maths in his class 12 examination...

Read Full ReviewThe course is very well designed, equipped to get someone truly interested in a subject. I was always interested in Mathematics, and did not want to do engineering or MBBS. This course perfectly fit my needs. Term exams are always on time and difficulty is moderate to quite difficult, but absolutely nothing outside of syllabus. The faculty is highly qualified with professors from institutions like IISERs and ISI, and they are mostly really good teachers
The college itself is very reputed and old. People from all over the country and outside come to study here. The average student has to be very disciplined (sometimes way too much). I play the electric guitar, so i also wanted a college with a thriving music scene, which exists here. They are lenient with bad students, but not lenient with attendance. If you have less than 60%, you will be debarred and required to pay a condonation fee to be able to sit for your exams. The admission process is pretty simple, and based on board marks. If you can score above the given cutoff in the department, you'll get in. For Mass Communication and Multimedia, theres an entrance exam you must appear for. The cutoff for science subjects is always above 94-95% as far as i know. I studied whatever was in my boards syllabus to prepare. For any future students, that should suffice too.

Read Full ReviewIf you're planning for the placement from the college then you must do well in every semesters and try not get any arrear in any of the semesters as it plays a important role for the jon opportunities as many of the companies with good package won't allow students with previous arrears to appear in the interview. Some of the famous recruiters are EY, D.B. Desai, etc. Highest package is 15Lpa and average is 3lpa and most of the profiles offered are for analyst or for sales. I'm studying for a professional degree.
The brand value of the college plays a important role for me to choose this college. But when it comes to the teaching and other amenities it didn't stand on my expectations. And there was no such GD, Interviews or test taken for admission.

I chose this college purely because of its brand name and heritage and faculty standard. No written test was conducted during admission. It was solely based on your merit of class 12th and 10th marks with maths being mandatory subject.
Read Full ReviewOverall the faculty is good but not so good. Teacher's clearly gets frustrated and cut the attendance like if you do a little inconvenient to them. They are little rude. But sometimes if they are in good mood then they teach so effective.
See at first, I was expecting ki it would be very good. But later I realised that ki it's very hectic and tough to remain constant as attendance is very very very cumpolsary. You cannot even bunk classes as seat are fixed.
