Campus life is also one thing which makes IIT Kanpur different from other like we have fest inter college and intra college . Like for sports fest we have udghosh which is conducted around the month september . Like for cultural fest we have antragini which is conducted around the month october . And for tech fest we have techkriti which is conducted around march - april. There are various tech clubs and cultural related clubs and sports facility is next level like you get ground for all your desired and lovable sports . For all such groups and clubs there are various instagram channels where we can directly connect to them .

Campus life is the best life. Everyone is here for your support. Professors, batchmate, hall mates everyone is very helpful. You can't feel lonely here . It is like second home . You get every opportunity here . There are multiple clubs, sports ground, jym , shops etc.

Overall life is good in campus. There are 3 fests in months of March, August and October. Library contains a rich stock of useful books related to coursework. Almost every type of sport is played, with cricket stadium, football field, hockey field and even tennis courts. Apart from these there are several clubs and teams related to science and technology, culture and sports run by students alone.

Life is very fascinating and wonderful. Living with friends of different backgrounds is very interesting. The freedom, the beatiful campus and long nights all are wonderful. Events live Antaragni, Techkriti and many more fill us with enthusiasm.

IITK Fests are Techkriti- Technical fest (March), Antaragni- Cultural fest(Oct.), Udghosh- Sports fest(Oct.). IIT Kanpur has one of the best library facilities in the country with a 3-story fully AC building and a collection of lacs of printed + digital books. IITK has a student gymkhana to facilitate student activities. It has 4 councils named 'The media and cultural council', 'games and sports council', 'Science and technology council' and 'Academic and career council'. IIT Kanpur has a total of 15 hostels with 12 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. The food quality is pretty decent. Also, It is very affordable since the food is subsidized. We have three fests .antaragni which was held in October of the previous year is a cultural fest and techkriti and udosh are technical and sports fests respectively. IITK has one of the biggest libraries named PK Kelkar Library. Iitk has two major sports competitions, inferno and Udgosh. There are so many clubs in iitk that come under student Gymkhana some of the clubs are programming club, dance club, robotics club, electronics club, dramatics club, etc. All clubs under student Gymkhana are run by students. Food quality is moderate and iitk hostels have a menu in which they offer a variety of things daily

The campus here is too huge and beautiful and has a different kinda vibe. The campus is full of beautiful spots and greenery that makes it a beautiful spot for roaming around when u feel alone or stressed. The campus gives a different peace kinda vibe I have never felt before. The hostels and residential facilities offered are way too good.

Best one word is enough its has the best social life , different clubs from sports to clutural to technology everything is here with endless opportunities , i am in Electronics club , E Cell , Fashion society

There are major three fests divided as cultural fest (“ANTARAGNI” mid October) technically fest (“TECHKRITI” march) and sports fest(“UDGHOSH” October ). All kind of academic books and journals are available in library . All type of sports facilities are available (20 sports) divide in teams &societies under Games &sports council . All type of needed facilities (equipments)or proper guide from coaches are there. 17 clubs and societies (like dance club, drams club , music club, Humour House etc.) under Media and culture councils and 22 teams& clubs (Robotics club , electronics club , programming club , aero modelling club , motor sports team , Humanoid team etc.) under science& technology councils. Website like there are academic websites (institute websites) and there are sperate websites for MNC , SNT and GNS councils run by coordinators (students) . Hostels are fine and mess good quality is also fine not that bad and mess menu changes every month according to students reviews .
