Yes, this institute have it's own internship platform. Everyone students can gets intership from here. It depends on student's choice in which lab or professor they want to work. Some excellent students also get some awards and fellowship in the last of internship.

I got an internship which was off-campus at Wise Finserv as an Analyst. On campus scene of internship is quite good, every year around 400 students get internships from 1200 students that sit in internship season. Companies like Janestreet offer as high as 30 lakhs for two months, and software companies like Oracle and Microsoft offer around 2 lakhs for 2 months then come to some core companies offering around 1 lakh for 2 months, other than this there are other benefits that vary from company to company.

Generally Excellent opportunities in placements. Most of the top companies come and offer a significant package to the best of us. However, there has been a decline in the number of students placed this year due to the down market.

I have not opted for any internships but there are about 200 on campus internships out of 1200 and getting an off campus internship is also quite easy because of the iit tag. Projects are also given by professors to interested students although they are hard to get.

Being a first year student I have not been part of any internship, it is generally facilitated in 3rd year. But opportunities especially in core sector is pretty limited with maximum of students getting in non core profile like finance, analytics, consulting.

There is not any such criterion but for safe side one should have cgpa about 7.5-8. it is the criterion which makes differences and then for various jobs they shortlist candidates on the basis of test for interviews and according to that place them .

Internship opportunities are available after 3rd year. Companies come during the start of 2nd year and selection is made on the basis of tests and interview. Major IT companies like Google, Amazon and Microsoft also hire for internships

Yes I got on campus internship in Company America Express. Companies came here full internship. After r to many technical rounds and interview..you will be selected for that company. Roles may be software, core, finance etc.

Not yet but I am trying for it. There are many opportunities for internship in the campus many companies comes to take students as a intern to their company. Companies came here for different type of rolls it can be software core anything.

As there are zero placements from my department (maths department) from last 2 years so therefore only few students apply for internship. From my batch no one has applied for it. MSc maths students have mostly the goal for PhD or assistant professor.
