GRE exam dates are offered throughout the year at authorized test centers worldwide. ETS provides a convenient online registration process where candidates can select their preferred GRE examination dates and locations. Students can schedule their GRE exam dates every 21 days, up to a maximum of five times within 12 months. Alternatively, GRE at home option allows candidates to book their preferred Graduate Record Examination dates 24 hours after registration. GRE registration dates for home edition are available around the clock, seven days a week. However, it is necessary to fulfill the equipment and environment GRE eligibility requirements to proceed with scheduling the exam dates. To complete the registration and successfully schedule GRE exam dates, candidates need to pay a fee of INR 22,550. You can pay GRE registration dates scheduling fees through credit/debit cards. If you want to change your booked GRE test dates, you need to pay a rescheduling fee of INR 5,000. Candidates are advised to book GRE examination date at least 2 or 3 months before their preferred exam dates.

Steps to Book GRE Exam Dates

For a sucessful GRE registration, you must create an account on the official website of ETS. The series of steps to follow for availing the next GRE exam dates are as follows:

Create an ETS Account: Visit the official website of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) at www.ets.org/gre and create an ETS account. Provide the required information, such as your name, contact details, and email address.
Select Test Type: Choose the type of GRE test you wish to take. The options include the GRE General Test or the GRE Subject Test.
GRE Slot Booking: Select the country and city where you want to take the GRE exam. ETS provides a list of authorized GRE test centers in various locations.
Check Availability: Check the availability of test dates at your preferred test center. The available dates will be displayed on the website. It is advisable to book your test date well in advance to secure your preferred slot.
Provide Personal Information: Enter your personal details, including your name, date of birth, and identification information (passport or national ID).
Review and Confirm: Review all the information provided, including test type, test center, and personal details, to ensure accuracy. Make any necessary corrections before proceeding.
Pay the Exam Fee: Pay the required examination fee using a valid credit or debit card. The fee may vary depending on your country of residence.
Confirmation and Admit Card: After successfully completing the registration and payment process, you will receive a confirmation email from ETS. This email will contain your test date, test center details, and other important instructions. You can also download and print your admit card from your ETS account.

GRE Exam Dates 2024 in India

GRE exam dates are available at test centers in India every month. The GRE General Test is conducted throughout the month on weekdays, excluding weekends and public holidays. It is recommended for candidates to schedule their GRE exam slots well in advance to secure their preferred choice of test center and date. The GRE exam fee is INR 22,550.
