The faculty here are very good and knowledgeable but as one can expect the curriculum is similar to that of a typical engineering collage. I feel the courses are a bit outdated and not industry oriented. The exams here are moderate to difficult level and students need prior preparation of Atleast one week.

I chose Material Science as this was the best branch I got in a top College. All faculties here at IIT Hyderabad are highly qualified. They graduated from IITs and completed their PhDs in their fields from top institutions. Also they are very experienced.

The course curriculum is very flexible . We get to chose extra courses based upon our interests right from 2nd semester. The faculties here are highly qualified and is a privilege to learn from them..

so, I choose Electrical Engineering because I like it that's the main reason coming to the teaching methods and curriculum. The professors here are very well educated almost every professor had done their master's or PhD from a very reputed institute and their teaching methods are very engaging some of them do not teach well but we cannot doubt on their knowledge it's just awesome coming to curriculum it is very engaging there won't be any unnecessary courses from your second semester itself i mean combined courses which is not the case in old gen IITs. Coming to difficulty of term exams you cannot expect a easy paper coming into one of the top engineering colleges so the difficulty depends on the professor most of them are doable.One point to be considered is the lab equipment in some labs are not upto the mark.

the course curriculum is up to date and is revised frequently. some courses have an attendance criteria but most courses do not have any criteria for attendance. the teaching methods for offline methods are simple and direct. usually use the big screen for presentations and writings. the course correction for exams is lenient but the grading system is very strict. some courses have relative grading while some have absolute grading depending on the professor. most faculty members are well qualified like pass outs from other IITs and some are even from IISC Bangalore. every professor is keen on their research as well.

The course curriculum for AI is pretty much same as CS for he initial years (1&2). Later the third and 4th are having different AI related subjects which are really interesting. The faculty here is highly experienced and famous in their field of work. Academics aren't too heavy, you'll have time to live your college life to fullest.

I was from a biology background and I was interested in biotechnology and its rapid growth post covid Era . and biotechnology in this college is one of the best in India . as far as I am aware all the faculties have done there post docs or doctorates from top universities across the world . exams are held on regular basis and the level of the exam is good . there are multiple questions of multiple difficulty level .

My course was introduced when I joined. My batch is the pioneer batch of Industrial Chemistry. The course focuses on theoretical chemistry, which is very different from Chemical Engineering.

I choose CSE due to my keen interest in computers. The faculty here are highly qualified and share the knowledge on an exceptional basis. The methods they use are modern and ensure the understanding of each student. There are 6 segments in a semester and courses are based on segments that are converted to credits. The cost is nearly 143000 per semester but there is a tuition fee waiver for SC/ST and students with low income. The exams depend on the course and they have a good difficulty level to ensure student progress.

The faculty is pretty good. The concept of fractal academics helps relieve stress from students. Students have a lot of academic freedom in the form of choosing various electives. The difficulty of exams depends on the course, faculty, and how much you pay attention in class. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters.
