There are many companies who come for on campus placements and internships including Microsoft, Google, Salesforce etc. mostly for software roles. Companies like Media. Net, Zomato and Meesho also hire for Product roles. There are a few companies who hire for core Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical roles. The placement rate last year was around 85 percent. You shouldn't have an active backlog to appear for placements.

IIT-JEE exam and my inate interest in the subject of physics made me choose the course. The course is offered to about upto 6000 CRL rank in JEE Advanced exam which is a descent rank in the same. I prepared for this by self study.

there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

Looking at the current scenario above average.high end salriea can be easily attained if you are able to maintain an 8+ cgpa(really easy all you have to do is attend classes , which ofc u might found difficultonce you start living college life) till 4th sem. Even if you are not able to do so one could easily find a job offcampus.

Eligibility criteria for placement and internship is given by the company. And many big companies like google, Microsoft, amazon, JPMC, Goldman Sachs and all come for both placement and internship offers. In my branch more than 90% got the placement and it varies with branch.

Placement ration here is very hood and the average package offered is also good comparing to any other private colleges . For mathematics and computing course the average package in 2023 was around 30 lpa

We have a very good placement opportunities. The average package of IIT Guwahati is around 26 lakhs per year and many companies like 300 visit every year in the campus for hiring students across vaishnavi roles like SDE ,product manager, Consultant etc.

Its among the top colleges in the country and is the most beautiful campus. It lies behind from some 6-7 top engineering colleges in the country by ranking. Bad aspects may include the suicide rate. Its pretty bad. The admission process is pretty simple. It happens through JoSAA Counselling. You can only take admission if you clear the JEE Advanced Exam at a good rank. I prepared through my school which focused on my JEE preparation.

Got into the college on the basis of JEE ADVANCED rank . For chemical engineering for gen male the cutoff stands about 5700 rank in JEE ADVANCED examination. Good: you can get chemical engineering in an old IIT(excluding Dhanbad and BHU) at this rank only in IIT G. Bad : the reason being the location (no one wants to come this far from their homes)

Many companies are to every branch student after setting up an cpi . So if ur branch is not that much good then obviously coding skills will help. Sone branches offer opportunities to go in core where scope is much. Avg package of my branch is 20 lacs which goes up and down in subsequent years.
