The city is not so cool. But, the social life is good in the campus. The event organised by the college keep students occupied. The socio-management fest here is the largest one in East India. There several departmental fest and events where students get ample opportunity to participate and skill up themselves. The sports fest Parakram is one of the largest sports meet of the country.

There are different eateries like Dominos, Barista within Campus. Apart from these Tea and Snacks Shops/ canteens are also there. IIT ISM has a huge library. Here we also have a SAC( student activity center) which has facilities like GYM, swimming, TT, Badminton. We have 2 large grounds Fest here are held in JAN and OCT.Different club exist like Toastmaster /Dance /Comedy.

There are four fest 1st Khanan the annual Geo mining fest conducted by mining department, the second is Contetto the techfest of IITISM Dhanbad in October and in February there is a cultural Fest SRIJAN and the sports fest is parakram that was held in March and there are sports meets and General Championship. we have The Central library which is the Asia second largest library so you can go and find any kind of book from any kind of topic and a lot of journals are there , some magazines and Newspapers are also provided . for sports and extra curricular activities the college provides a good facility, it has its own ground and indoor sport rooms. There are cultural clubs are for dance music drama poetry etc tech clubs fare there like Mecizmu Robo Ism CyberLabs etc . we have institute to innovation hub, institute research facality and student's activity centre for that .they provide you all kind of assistance for any project you want to pursue .

IIT ism is having mainly three fests concetto, srijan ,parkaram.concetto is happens in every in the month of October which is technical fest and srijan happens in the last month of January which is cultural fest and the last fest is parakram which happens in every year in march which is sports fest.we can also borrow books from library.there are so many clubs some are coding clubs and sports clubs and for extra curricular activities we have dancing club and singing clubs.

Srijan, annual cultural fest, Concetto, annual tech fest, Khanan, annual mining fest, Parakram, annual sports fest held in february, october, august and march respectively. Library contains plenty of books and it has procurements of materials. Sports facilities available for students if interested. Social clubs are run by students and supported by the management.

This campus provide socio-cultural environment. This is fully residential. There are many fest of different type during the academic year. These are SRIJAN is socio-cultural event which held in month of February start. PARAKARAM is sports fest which is in last of February. Concetto is technical and management fest in month of October. There are different club which is technical and cultural too.

Srijan, cultural fest of iit(ism) dhanbad is held in February each year. Parakram which is the sports fest iit ism dhanbad is held in march each year.

There are various clubs. Even the numbers are so much that I cannot count. There are different clubs for every extra activities that one can do in a life. We also have various fests that gives life to campus and interaction among the students with the seniors as well as alumnis who are at high posts in the world.

Life at campus isn't bad but it isn't the best either. Although the senior and junior interaction is quite good. I personally have received a lot of help from their side. Many of students also have close relations to peofessors and they are ready to help always however they can. The living conditions inside hostel are quite average though with often insects seen around the premesis and sqaurm of mosquitoes.

Our cultural fest is Srijan, Tech fest is Concetto and Sports fest is Parakram. Our clubs include Fotofreaks, LiveTalksISM, Artfreaks and various other clubs depending upon students interest. Library includes all kinds of books for subjects, fictional, competitive program.
