In the first year there is very little interaction between seniors and the freshers because of the anti-ragging moment. So the social life is very less and you might not experience clubs or interaction that much

The life is much satisfying at campus but there is too much heat you have to carry umbrella with you all the time. The library is well air conditioned and have almost all necessary books. The college have grounds for cricket, kabaddi, indoor stadium for badminton, table tennis, and ground for volleyball and basketball also for tennis. College have many clubs for coding, dance , photography, etc. hostel are very good and new but the mess food is not that good. It will be very difficult for you if you rent a pg bcoz college is 12km from the city.

As far as Campus life is concerned it might not be as you might have imagined. Built atop the hills, with a very spacious area of 144 acres, the IIITDM Kurnool is situated in a very peaceful and serene Environment. Previously the institute lacked even the basic facilities like a stadium or ground but at last, these facilities are finally being provided. (which includes an Indoor stadium, various grounds, and arenas, etc., and a Gym facility) The institute supports club culture but there is still less participation by students. "SOLASTA" is the fest that the institute celebrates from time to time but not every year which depends entirely on the student body In the last 6 years SOLASTA has been celebrated only twice. The institute also supports NSS and conducts drives frequently. Hostels are new and well maintained, Food might be a troubling factor for some but putting taste aside it is very healthy,(nonveg is served on some days of the week which might pose as a problem for some).

College conducts yearly fest named solasta .which conducts various technical and non technical events students all over India can participate.there will be evening events as a part of it. Library is very good providing dedicated study room . good collection of books.daily news paper availability.sports arena is fantastic.turf facility.ckubs for drama , dance, art. Food quality is good may be south people are not that happy about food.hostel rooms are good and fee is affordable

College life is mostly good here. All the students are only engaged in studying things. Distraction is less here as the College is situated on a hill place so students mostly stay on Campus only. The campus is very beautiful and pollution-free. The total area of the campus is approx 180 acres. Daily requirements things can be easily accessed here. Clubs are getting active as year passes and new coding clubs are introduced. Also, the institute provides proper funding to all the clubs. The hostels are very good here. There are 3 hostels for boys and 1 for girls. In 1st and 2nd years double occupancy rooms( if single rooms are empty then one can stay there also for no extra cost). And for 3rd and 4th year are provided. Impact l was in a single room for 1st year only( lucky I'm:) ). Hostels are well maintained and cleaned. 1 washing machine is there for every floor. LAN ports and wifi are available all the time. In short good hostel life. The campus is newly built so things are with new features and technology.

Since the college was set up 10 years ago only, the infrastructure is still underway. Recently the cricket stadium was inaugrated. Solasta is the techno-cultural fest of our college which takes place in February every year, although it has happened 3 times only (2019, 2024 and 2025) it is excellent. We have singing and dance events, games, food stalls, DJ night and all sort of activities which make up a cultural fest. We have a state of the art library with thousands of books and journals covering Engineering, science and Govt. exams. The classrooms of the new academic block are outstanding. The campus is WIFI enabled. Digital board and podium are available in each class. Comfortable seating with power socets for each student is there. Football turf, cricket ground, tennis and badminton courts are there in our campus. Indoor games like chess and carrom are also there. We have various gaming events in our campus with exciting prize pools.

Since the college the started in 2015 the campus is not to big. There's still the work going on. The campus present is very good and its really worth joining this college. There have been scheduled events that take place. There's an annual techno-cultural fest held in the institute called "SOALSTA". This fest usually occurs in the feb-march. There's an excellent sports facilities including a turf , indoor stadium , different courts, and many more. There are many clubs too that run successfully in the institute like FMC, Photography, Coding, elc.

There are so many fest celebrations here like fusion fest, fresher's, Solasta (Main fest). Except NCERT every book and journal is available in central library. If you are good at any sports You can participate in inter IIIT selection in which you will be sent at other IIIT to perform in whichever sport you are selected. So many clubs like music, dancing, gaming clubs are there.
