Placement of college has been steadily improving, with an increasing number of recruiters visiting campus. Eligibility criteria is set by the companies visiting the campus so all students in their capacity are eleigible for placements. Nvidia, Microchip, Delloite are some of the recruiters. The placements are disappointing and not comparable to other counterpart IIITs. Although we have a very big advantage of location but still we are struggling with placements. Most of the placements are from CSE and AI&DS disciplines. Core students either go for M. Tech or for IT jobs. I am planning for MBA after my degree completion

Since the IIITDM Kurnool is a centrally funded technological institute its name is enough to attract the multinational companies into the campus. The Institute has been started from 2015 due to its less time span there isn't any good attraction for the companies in search of placements. Since the institute is newly built it does not have a great perimeter for the job opportunities, but there's the IIIT tag which helps lot of student to grab placement OFF CAMPUS. The recruiters do come into the college but the have very less vacancies to hire. The highest ever package was 1.3 CR pa and average package comes out to 9 lpa.

The placements here are decent, Companies such as TCS,Pharma-easey, Jio has visited in the past , the eligibility criteria varies from company to company. This year highest package is around 14LPA and an average package of 8LPA. Around 60% of the students were placed.

Now the placements are not upto to the mark yet. But definitely from the past few years they have improved very well. However a lot of improvement is needed regarding placements here. Coming to interns, there are many opportunities for interns here from the very beginning only. There is also an opportunity to complete the final semester in foreign.

Well as a first i don't know much about the placements , but the placement situation is not so good anywhere. So the same case is with this college with average package of 9lpa and highest of 1.3crores
