RVCE - One of Bangalore’s Finest
What I Liked
College infrastructure is good with a lot of renovation happening which is making the college life and campus better day by day, the campus life is good with a lot of clubs and events with a lot of opportunities for social interactions
Teachers interaction is good and both the canteens are good with a third one that has been recently added
What I didn’t like
Some of the buildings are old compared to the new ones so they are lacking and even sports facilities are lacking
No sports results in boring evening sometimes with the football ground being uneven and too many sports on one field
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is good and geared towards the industry the faculties are good with vast knowledge and help on various projects and respond on time and the EL project is a great initiative taken by the college which is interdisciplinary in nature
Placement Experience:
Placements and job opportunities are superb with it being within Bangalore which is a technical hub in its own and placement procedure are very rigorous and they try to get most students places , you will definitely get placed with a very good package if you work hard
Faculty is good here. Almost all professors are Phd holders in there department
Placement are the best for rvce . Opportunity is thrown at you now it depends on you how you capture those
What I didn’t like
Campus size is small due to which it can be a drawback if you like big campus
Campus discipline is there you can't enter college after 10pm especially for 1st year and 2nd year students
Course Curriculum Overview:
Rvce is affiliated to vtu but it is an autonomous college so it decides it's own syllabus overall till now the curriculum is better then most of colleges as here it is more industry standard focused study. We have to make an Project for every semester which is taken as internal and that project is to be not made till now it should be your innovation
Placement Experience:
RVCE has great placement opportunities, with top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte hiring students. In 2024, the highest package reached rs92 LPA for BE students and rs35 LPA for MTech/MCA, while the average was around rs 25.45 LPA and rs13.01 LPA, respectively. A total of 778 offers were made by 239 companies. To be eligible, students generally need a good CGPA, no backlogs, and relevant skills. After graduation, most students take up jobs, pursue higher studies, or even start their own ventures.
Rvce is in bengaluru so for off campus placement is also good and easy to take.

One of the best private college in Karnataka
What I Liked
College life us good there are clubs to join. As rvu is part if rvce fests go on every now and then.
The placement stats are very good compared to other private colleges.
What I didn’t like
So much is under construction in campus.
Some faculty are just old. Still there are assistant professors who are so much better in teaching than professors.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I wanted to pursue electronics.I thought of ece first, i didn't get it so ete.All the professors here has phd.Teaching is just okay.. We have 3 internals, out of these 3 best two marks are taken. We have experiencial learning where we have to make a group project which is then graded and carries 40% of internal marks.
Placement Experience:
Eligibility is you should have all subjects cleared, you should not have any back.Companies come for recruitment from end of 2nd year. The highest package was 92 lakhs from ise department. Median is 14-18lakh.
I don't want to do masters, just needto get a stable job.

A Blend of Academics, Innovation and Opportunity
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was not interested in computer science since it's kinda boring not big to see. While in EEE there is a lot to learn although it might be tougher than all other courses in engineering its better to learn it and easier if interest is there.
Remarks:
My college strikes a great balance between academics and hands- on learning. While academically inclined, it also offers numerous clubs that help students apply theoretical knowledge practically. The infrastructure has evolved rapidly, with a new library, computer science and ECE buildings enhancing the campus experience. Most faculty members a re supportive , though a few can be challenging>I secured admission through comedk, with no GD and Pi rounds. Having studied at Narayana, I experienced a highly disciplined environment effective but not for everyone, as it can hamper ones growth in academics when there is pressure. Comedk is a much easier exam I made it to the merit list although I slept in the exam as I was tired to solve all the questions I solved some and then I slept for some time before attempting it again. Let's come to the main point I chose this college because of its placement records and Bangalore's opportunity. Overall , the mix of modern infrastructure, academics .
Library and canteen are the best but so are classrooms
What I didn’t like
Constant construction and bad parking spots
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was always interested in data science and the course at RVCE is a well integrated course with faculties providing support and guidance not only with college studies but also personal ideas and projects!
Last semester the exams were scheduled a little late and that disrupted the further college timetable and shortened pir vacation time but it’s back on schedule now
Remarks:
Main reason was that RV is a reputed college and my guidance counsellor insisted on RVCE, admission process is made quite simple once you get in touch with the admissions department.
Cut off also varies but you can get it with 75% mostly

Rv college - an ecperience
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college is following the curriculum of VTU and the curriculum is quite outdated. ECE is a booming department with access to it jobs and is beneficial so i opted this department for pursuing my education.
Remarks:
I only had to give the comedk exam for the admission of this college. this was presumably one of the best private college in bangalore. the comedk exam was to be given and a decent rank is required to get into this college

RV COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is same as designated by VTU . The faculties are great , very helpful and well qualified and they have a strict system of making you learn industry related skill . The college is indeed hectic but it's preparing you for the corporate world.
Placement Experience:
The placements and job opportunities are really great as it is one of the reputable colleges in Bangalore. The highest package for last year was 92LPA and average was 10 LPA inclusive of all the branches

honest feedback about RVCE
What I Liked
the infrastructure is decent the faculty is good the campus life is non-existent the only happening place is mingos(the canteen).
the seniors are helpful but these all these thing prepare us for a corporate life.
What I didn’t like
most infrastructure is still being renovated or build also recently the mechanical building collapsed.
there is not much roaming around bunking and all at least as of now.
Course Curriculum Overview:
the curriculum is very diverse but also very hectic. we have yoga, Indian constitution, Kannada, English as subjects apart from the engineering subjects this wastes a lot of our time in my opinion. The faculty is really helpful and decently qualified.we also have this new concept of experiential learning(EL) this was the worst part of my 1st semester.it is basically making a project in a group of 4 or 5 which revolutionizes the concept or industry.it is a good concept but i dont think they should have given this t us in 1st sem itself because we didnt know any concepts about Arduino, motors, sensors ,etc and we had to pair up with randon strangers because we didnt know anyone.also this activity is done with students from different branches.the exams are easy but happen every 2.5 weeks and there are numerous other tests for labs, quiz, etc.
Placement Experience:
the placements and internship opportunities are one of the plus points for RV because they have good connections and many of the students end up going abroad. The placements are mostly good for cse and ece only. The highest package this year was 96 lakhs from apple. The percentage of student place has dropped this year as seen in other colleges also, but they have still placed around 80% of the students in cse.

Life as a Undergrad. at RV college of Engineering
What I Liked
Campus life is very vast and there is a lot to explore considering the college being in banglore, this culture here is very modernized and vibrant
Faculties are very practical and patient eith the students incase of any commotion caused by a student, while also abiding rules and regulations of the college trying their best to keep both sides safe and satisfied
What I didn’t like
Student experience varies a lot when considering the department of course the student has applied for.
A very small incriment in the extra curricular activities over the last few years
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college being autonomous follows VTU curriculum while having its own authority.
The faculties are very experienced in their domains of knowledge while also technologically advanced when it comes to teaching methods.
Each semester has 3 internals for theory, 1 lab internal, 1 sem end final exams and 1 lab exeternals, and the difficulty level is well set up to keep students under high performance, revised and confident in their subjects
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are in a better state compared to most of the Engineering colleges in India considering the current situation, a lot of companies are offering decent packages for students who are sitting for on campus placements, the highest placement this year was 68 lpa in CS dept. With avg package of 23.45 lpa in the same dept., while in chemicalz the avg is around 8 lpa. Almost 66% of CS branch is already placed while other branches are at around 30-40% of students are placed.
I personally plan on higher studies.

Reality of RV college of engineering
Course Curriculum Overview:
Electronics and telecommunication engineering for its dynamic nature and opportunities in wireless communication embedded systems and IOT curriculum is well structured covering foundational topics like digital electronics and advance areas like signal processing. While theoretical concepts are well taught. Exams are conducted on time, moderately, challenging and test, conceptual understanding well better with practical applications. Overall the course provides a strong foundation for diverse career opportunities.
Remarks:
Factors for choosing this college and admission process, I choose this college for its strong academics, excellent faculty, vibrant campus, life and placement opportunities. The infrastructure and active clubs were additional advantages. Admission was based on a merit based exam with no group discussion for interviews process was straightforward and I prepared by strengthening my concepts and practising mock tests. The college offers a well structured curriculum and extra curricular opportunities do practical learning and industry exposure could be improved.
