Placement is decent. Many times eligibility criteria includes that one should not have backlog. Recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, Adani, L & T, WTW, Ericsson, Celebal Technologies, Tata Power, Capgemini etc Number of offers are good. At the end 75-80% student get placed. Average placement is around 6 LPA. Highest package received was from Microsoft that was off famous for 54 LPA. Highest on campus was package was of 12 LPA. I am placed in a technical company.

The Core branches have 90 percent placement and the non-core have 70 percent placement here. Mainly mass recruiters visit the campus for placement. In this year even the psu also visited our campus for placement. Highest package was 45 lpa.

The placements and job opportunities for the core department is nearly 100% but in the non core departments it's comparatively less the average placement package is 6 lpa only but goes as high as approx 40 lacs. The current recruiters are Bharat technologies LNT HPL and other recruiters. Many students have been already placed for this year and many interviews are currently going on. In my college there is no tension about placements and internships because electrical department has record of getting highest number of placements in a department. Till this date 26th Jan,a almost 46+ students got placed out of 53 students in this year before 8th semester, average of 6 LPA job has been secured by the students. Lowest package secured is 3 LPA in CocaCola and highest of 7.5 LPA got secured by Arka Mitra dada in Dastur group of companies. Medium package is about 4.5 LPA.

The placement for the CORE and NON-CORE departments is very well. There is no such criteria for placement. Some mass recruiters of our college are TCS, INFOSYS, AMAZON, HALDIA PETROCHEMICAL, L&T etc. In the last year overall 90% of students are placed. Among of them the highest package for the college is 63.5 lacs per annum from Atlassian and the average salary for the CORE department is 5 to 6 lacs per annum and for the NON-CORE department, the average salary is 9.5 lacs. My plan after the course ends is to get a good job in a good Company.

JGEC has its own Traning and Placement Cell which organises placement drives for the 4th year students. Companies like Voltas, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc are the recruits. The average package is 8LPA on campus and the highest package is 63.5 LPA off campus

So many top recruiting companies like Cognizant, Amazon, Microsoft, Capgemini, Uber, Wipro, TCS, etc., visiting in our college campus. Almost 98% of students in our course are placed. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Juspay, Celebal Technologies, Hexaware Technologies, Ericsson, BEL, etc. Mostly SDE and SWE roles are offered. The highest package in our college from CSE department is 63 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA.

I don't know the details of getting a job. but you have to be very skillful in a domain to get a job. The few visited recruiters are Amazon, Wiper, TCS, cognizant, etc. I don't tell the number of offers accurately. The highest package is 60lpa and the lowest package is 4 lpa approx. Almost 70% of the students get placements. I plan to get a job after this degree and continue to do that.
