IIT JAM CCMN 2023 Counselling Registration has begun on the official website from June 5, 2023. IIT JAM counseling is for admission to M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.) programs. Only candidates who have successfully qualified in the IIT JAM 2023 exam are eligible to register for CCMN Counselling 2023. The choice form for IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023 can be filled until June 22, 2023.

The round 1 seat allotment results for CCMN Counselling 2023 will be announced on June 29, 2023. The last date for seat acceptance fee payment is July 4, 2023. Through CCMN 2023 counseling, candidates can secure admission to M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.) programs in 22 NITs and 3 GFTIs, including IIEST Shibpur. A total of 2,300 seats are available for allocation.

How to Register for IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023?

To register the name for IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023 candidates need to visit the official website and click on the link “New Candidate Registration”. Following are the steps to register the name:

• Online Registration Form: First candidates need to visit the official website. After that candidates need to fill out the application form with the required details such as educational qualifications, mobile number, email address, IIT JAM registration id, IIT JAM exam year- 2023, IIT JAM exam paper, and IIT JAM marks, etc.
• Create Password: Candidates need to create a password at the time of registration which will be used in future admission processes.
• Application Fee: candidates who are from GN/ OBC/ EWS need to pay the registration fee is Rs 3000 through net banking/ debit card/ credit card/ e – challan/ UPI/ wallets.
• IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023 Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates need to fill the choices in online mode as per their preference for CCMN 2023 Counseling. Candidates should opt for the choices order of preference and lock the choices before the deadline.
• Seat Allotment of CCMN Counselling 2023: seat allotment process of CCMN 2023 will be online. Candidates will be allotted their seats according to their merit of IIT JAM score and as per the choices filled by candidates in CCMN 2023. Candidates need to check the allotted seat on the CCMN website.
• Fee for Seat Acceptance: After the seat allotment candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fees in online mode. The seat allotment fee for CCMN Counselling 2023 is Rs 15,000 for general-category students and Rs 10000 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates
• Document Verification: Candidates need to carry all the required documents to the reporting center. Documents should be in original and at least two Xerox copies of each
• Willingness of Submission: There are three options to choose from in CCMN Counselling 2023.
  • Floating: candidates who wish to go for further seat upgrades will choose the floating option
  • Sliding: candidates who wish to be considered for a higher preferred choice within the allotted institute.
  • Freezing: The candidate who wishes consistent with the allotted institute and does not want to upgrade, she/ he must go for this option.

IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Only qualified candidates in IIT JAM 2023 will be eligible for the CCMN Counselling 2023 process. The eligibility criteria are listed below:

• Candidates need to qualify for the IIT JAM 2023 exam
• Valid score of IIT JAM 2023
• Candidates must graduate with 60% marks from a recognized university or a CGPA of 6.5
• SC/ ST/ PwD categories must have at least 55% of aggregate marks or 6. 0 CGPA. in graduation
• If the result is still in waiting, in that case, candidates need to present valid proof of the document by the pre-final semester of that year at the reporting center during document verification
