During the IIT JAM 2026 Application Process, candidates can choose up to three exam locations. These decisions are final after the application form has been filled out and submitted. However, the preferred IIT JAM exam centres can be changed in extreme cases. Candidates must submit a legitimate justification along with a payment of Rs. 500 (as a processing fee) through the JOAPS portal online in order to request a change in exam locations.
