BITS Pilani Hyderabad offers BE program under 7 specializations. The duration of the program is 4 years which consists of 8 semesters. B.E is a full-time undergraduate program.

B.Pharm is a full-time undergraduate program offered for a duration of 4 years. The Institute provides electives option in B.Pharm and offers an opportunity to candidates to choose a specific career path.

Eligibility Criteria

• For BE, Candidates should have passed 10+2 level education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
• For B.Pharm admission, candidates who have passed 10+ 2 level education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects with an aggregate mark of 60% are eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

• Initially, candidates are screened based on the marks secured in the Class 12 board examination.
• Then the selected candidates should appear and clear the BITSAT examination conducted by the institute to get admission to BE and B.Pharm programs.
• The final selection is based on marks secured in Class 12 and the score obtained in the BITSAT examination followed by counselling at BITS Pilani.

BITS Pilani Hyderabad offers various full-time postgraduate programs which include ME, M.Pharm, M.Sc and MBA programs under various specializations.

Eligibility Criteria

• For ME, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in BE or B.Tech in the relevant stream with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from BITS Pilani or any other recognized university.
• The eligibility criteria to apply for the M.Pharm program is that candidates should hold a B.Pharm degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate from BITS Pilani or any other recognized university.
• For M.Sc, candidates should hold a B.Sc degree in the relevant stream with at least 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university.
• For MBA admission, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates who have applied for the Postgraduate programs offered at BITS Pilani Hyderabad will be initially screened based on the marks secured in the undergraduate program.
• The selected candidates will then appear and secure a valid score in the BITSAT examination for a higher degrees conducted by BITS Pilani at various test centres.
• For MBA admission, the selected candidates should appear and secure a valid score in the BAAT examination conducted by BITS Pilani.
• The final selection will be based on the previous academic merit and the marks secured in the BITSAT examination.

BITS Pilani Hyderabad offers both full-time and part-time PhD programs and a full-time M.Phil program.

Eligibility Criteria

• The eligibility criteria to apply for the M.Phil and PhD programs offered at BITS Pilani Hyderabad is that candidates should hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the previous qualifying examination.

Selection Criteria

• The initial selection criteria for the M.Phil and PhD program is based on the previous academic merit. Candidates will be selected based on the marks secured in the previous qualifying examination.
• For M.Phil admission, the selected candidates will be appearing for the written test followed by a personal interview conducted by BITS Pilani.
• Candidates who have secured a valid score in the GATE or GPAT examination need not appear for the written test, they will be directly promoted to the personal interview round for M.Phil admission.
• For PhD admission, the selected candidates should appear and clear the written test followed by a personal interview round.
• Candidates with National Level fellowships like CSIR, NET – JRF, DBT – JRF, UGC NET – JRF and M.Phil degree are exempted from taking the written test and they can directly attend the personal interview.
