Established in 1999, Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is situated in Pune. An autonomous institute, the college is NAAC and NBA accredited. It is also AICTE approved. The college, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, was ranked 71 for BTech by IIRF in 2024.
 

PCCOE Pune BTech is offered in seven specialisations. Candidates must have 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The selection committee bases the selection of candidates on JEE Mains and MAH-CET scores. Maharashtra state candidates will take the MAH CET exam. Students from outside the state must qualify in the JEE Main for BTech admission. The total intake of this course is 900 seats. The total fees of this four-year program is Rs 5.77 Lakhs. PCCOE Pune Courses are diverse, including BTech Lateral, MTech, MBA, MCA and PhD. Candidates must be valid rank holders in a National/State Level Entrance Exam for PCCOE Pune Admissions.

PCCOE Pune awards scholarships based on merit and financial need. These include government schemes like Post-Matric and Freeship for Tuition and Exam Fees. Non-govt options include: the Lila Poonawalla Foundation (for girls), the Kiran-Persistent Foundation (for girls in CS/IT), the RMD Foundation (merit-based), the Disha Parivar Trust (for poor students), the IOCL Merit Scheme (monthly stipends), and the Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Scholarship.

The 2024 PCCOE Pune Placements were excellent, as companies placed 218 students. Companies offered the highest CTC of INR 22 LPA, while they recorded the average package at INR 6.54 LPA. The median package was recorded at INR 5.75 LPA. This year's top recruiters included Capgemini, KPIT, Accenture, Emerson Automation, Tejas Networks, Elitmus, Tudip Technologies, and BMC Software.
