Central Board of Secondary Education recently updated the CBSE Class 12th Exam Pattern for students. CBSE Class 12 exams are scored out of 100 marks, with practical exams conducted internally by schools, carrying a weightage of 20 marks. In the CBSE class 12 final board exam 2024, there will be a larger emphasis on multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Approximately 20% of the questions in the Class 12 board exams will be MCQ-based, giving students a new way to show their understanding of the subject. Furthermore, an important portion of the exams, 40% to be precise, will comprise competency-based questions, which will include MCQs, source-based, and case-study-based questions. The remaining 40% will be dedicated to short and long-answer-type questions.
