CBSE Class 12th Political Science Syllabus 2024 has been released by the board on the official website of CBSE. Students can download the Class 12 Political Science Syllabus PDF from CBSE academic.nic.in.This syllabus is structured into two theory parts and one project work segment. The theory parts hold a weightage of 40 marks each, while the project work contributes 20 marks, summing up to a total of 80 marks for the CBSE Class 12 Political Science theory exam. CBSE Class 12th Political Science: Internal assessment
The total assessment comprises 100 marks, with 80 allocated for theory and 20 for internal assessment. Students are required to undertake a research-based project from a list of designated topics, adhering closely to the provided guidelines.
- The project should be neatly written and relevant to the topic.
- The various topics must be discussed by the teacher in the classroom and he/she should help candidates in choosing the right one.
- Students have to submit it before the deadline as told by the respective teacher.
- The assessment can be done individually, in pair, or in a group of 4 or 5.
- For class 12th, the corrections will be made jointly by both internal and external examiners.
- Evaluation of marks will be made considering the performance in viva as well as the project submitted.

CBSE Political Science Class XII Project work: Overview
