Choosing a paper
Can I use the answer key for another set?
Only after matching the actual question, including its figures, options and internal choice. A question number by itself is not enough. Keep the full paper code with your answer sheet so that you do not compare two different problems.
Should I solve every set of the same subject?
Start with one complete paper to find where you lose marks. Use another set to practise different questions from those areas. If much of the content overlaps, compare the changed questions instead of repeating the entire paper immediately.
Checking answers
Does a worked solution have to match my wording exactly?
For a descriptive answer, compare the meaning and evidence, not just the sentence structure. In English, for instance, an inference must still follow from the passage. For numerical answers, compare the method and intermediate steps as well as the final value. The matching CBSE marking scheme is the reference for awarded marks.
Can I add both internal-choice answers to my practice score?
No. Where a question asks you to attempt one alternative, score only the alternative you chose. You can solve the other one later as extra practice, but adding both would inflate the score beyond that paper’s maximum.
Is my theory-paper score my final subject score?
No. A theory-paper attempt covers only that paper. Practical, project or internal-assessment marks, where applicable, are separate parts of the subject result. Do not compare a score out of the paper’s maximum directly with a final subject percentage.
Practice and revision
Can I prepare for 2027 using these 2026 papers?
Yes, for topics that remain in your syllabus. Use the 2026 questions to practise methods and answer writing, then use the sample paper for your own session to check its format. A previous paper does not establish the next examination’s chapter-wise weightage.
Are the questions in the practice widget official CBSE questions?
No. They are original short exercises in Mathematics, Physics and Commerce. Submit a set to see explanations, then retry the questions you missed. The downloads above are separate resources; the short sets are not full board papers.
