How Many Students Registered, Appeared for JEE Main Session 1 Paper 2

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Paper 2 test was held on 29 January 2026. Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Planning candidates, respectively. B.Arch saw 64,786 candidates registered, with 45,452 actually appearing (70.16% attendance).
B.Planning had 32,366 candidates registering, out of which 21,067 appeared. The attendance rate in JEE Main BPlanning was 65.09%.
- In JEE Main BArch, a total of 31634 female candidates registered and 22808 candidates appeared.
- Out of 33152 male students registered for JEE Main BArch, a total of 22644 candidates appeared.
- In JEE Main BPlanning, a total of 13908 candidates registered, and out of these, 9182 students appeared for the examination.
- Among the 18458 registered male candidates, a total of 11885 candidates appeared for JEE Main BPlanning.
