The exam was conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM. JEE Main 2024 April 4 Shift 1 paper analysis was very similar to January session 1. The physics was lengthy as compare to the other sections. • Mathematics Paper was moderate in difficulty level but it was reported to be lengthy. Questions were asked from all chapters with the majority of them being from Algebra & Calculus Chapters.
• Chemistry Paper reportedly had an easy to moderate difficulty level. Direct questions from NCERT Books were asked for the Organic & Inorganic Chemistry Chapters. A few questions were asked from the Physical Chemistry chapters. 
• As per the reports, Physics Paper was the lengthiest and overall balanced as questions were asked from most of the chapters.
