Documents Required to Carry at the JEE Main Exam Centre

Required Documents for All Candidates Specific Documents (If Applicable)
JEE Main 2026 Admit Card: You must carry a printed copy of your hall ticket PWD Certificate: This must be carried by candidates claiming relaxation under the Persons with Disabilities category.
Valid Government ID Proof (same as uploaded in the application form): This is necessary to verify your identity at the gate. Non-Aadhaar Declaration: This document is required for candidates who are not using Aadhaar for their biometric verification.
Two Photographs (same as uploaded in the application form): These are required for the attendance sheet verification process. Photo Verification Document: Candidates should carry additional photo verification documentation as specified by the NTA via email.
Self Declaration: Paste the photo and put left hand thumb impression before reaching the centre. Space for signature is to be left blank and has to be done at the exam hall in the presence of an invigilator. -

Biometric Verification at JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre

Candidates using Aadhaar for entry must ensure that their Aadhaar biometrics are unlocked before reaching the exam centre. This is necessary to enable a smooth and hassle-free Aadhaar-based biometric verification process at the examination venue.

For non-Aadhaar registered candidates:
Students who did not register using Aadhaar or opted for a non-Aadhaar authentication method must report early on the exam day, preferably at least one hour before the gate closing time, to complete their biometric recording at the centre.
