Slot Booking and Admit Card Download

The hall-ticket instructions below describe the 2026 process. Complete applicants used OTBS to choose an available test date and session. Slots were first-come, first-served. The booking password was sent to the registered email.

• Open OTBS through the VITEEE admission website.
• Log in using the application number and booking credentials.
• Choose an available date and session for the submitted test city.
• Confirm the booking and save the confirmation.
• Return to OTBS for the actual e-admit card before the exam.

The booking confirmation states the city, date, time and subject. It is not the e-admit card. The prospectus placed actual hall-ticket download in the 48-hour period before the booked examination; the actual card supplies the venue address.

Details to Check on the Hall Ticket

Report an incorrect photograph, identity entry or schedule to VIT immediately. Do not write over or alter an authenticated admit card yourself. A test city is not the same as the final building address.

Printout and Accepted Identity Proof

Print the actual PDF on A4 paper, with the photograph and all entries clearly visible. The 2026 instructions asked for the PDF printout, not a mobile screenshot. Bring it with one original, valid, non-expired photo ID from the accepted list.

A booking email alone is not enough for entry. Keep the admit card after the exam because it may be required during counselling and admission.

Reporting Time and Prohibited Items

The 2026 guidelines asked students to reach the centre at least two hours before the test. The admit-card entry deadline still controls admission to the venue; arriving late because of traffic does not create a right to a retest.

Return the issued rough sheets to the invigilator. For a computer fault or medical issue during the examination, contact the invigilator or centre superintendent. Eligible PwD/PwBD candidates had a 30-minute compensatory-time provision subject to the specified medical certificate.

Missing Login, Slot or Admit Card

Check the registered email, including spam, for the OTBS password. The account email must remain accessible; VIT does not send the hall ticket by post or fax.

The prospectus says candidates who did not book could receive a generated slot based on their application and availability. That is not a right to choose a late preferred session. It also makes candidates responsible for timely booking and says the application fee is not refunded for non-booking or absence.

VIT listed 044-46277555 for computer-test queries. Include the application number and exact error when contacting support; never share the password publicly. The exam schedule and the individual admit-card time serve different purposes.
