How to Check the VITEEE Result

VIT's 2026 BTech result and counselling portal is available. It uses the application number, password and registered email for login. The 2027 result date is not announced.

• Open the VITEEE result/counselling portal from the official admission website.
• Enter the credentials for the correct admission cycle.
• Check that the result belongs to your application.
• Save the available result information and read the counselling instructions in the account.

Do not use an older-cycle login as a 2027 result link. The exam dates page separates the completed schedule from the upcoming cycle.

How Marks Become a Merit Rank

For 2026, VIT used normalisation based on percentile scores for the multi-session examination and prepared the rank list from those scores. Different sessions could have different question sets; an individual raw score was not the final admission rank.

Raw marks under the 2026 pattern can be calculated as 4 times correct answers minus wrong answers. For example, 90 correct and 20 wrong gives 340 out of 500, or 68% raw marks. That is not a 68th-percentile result.

Rechecking, Raw Marks and Rank Problems

The 2026 prospectus did not provide re-ranking or re-totalling. It also stated that raw scores and photocopies of answer sheets would not be supplied. That is different from resolving a login failure or a mistaken identity entry.

For a result-account problem, keep the application number, registered email and exact error ready. The 2026 counselling contact was btechcounselling@vit.ac.in, with telephone 044-46277555. Do not send account passwords or payment credentials in a public comment.

What Happens After the Result?

In 2026, participation in online counselling required a non-refundable INR 5,900 fee. Students entered campus, programme and fee-category preferences, and allotment depended on rank, preferences and available seats.

The brochure described five counselling phases. A candidate missing a phase could participate in the next applicable phase based on rank, but only from its available choices. These are historical process rules, not announced 2027 phase dates.

Paying tuition did not remove the academic eligibility checks. The provisional admission remained valid only when the qualifying conditions and documents were satisfied. The counselling process covers the document list and the restriction on changing an allotted campus, programme or fee category.
