VITEEE Registration Steps

Registration starts with a mobile OTP and a working email address. VIT sends the account password to that email. After login, enter personal and academic details, complete payment, upload the photograph and signature, and download the filled application.

• Register and verify the mobile number.
• Log in with the registered email and password.
• Complete the form and keep the application number.
• Pay the application fee.
• Upload the two images and download the filled form.

The 2026 process was online; a printed application did not have to be posted to VIT. Submit only one application. Multiple attempts, including attempts under duplicate applications, can disqualify a candidate.

Who Can Apply?

The eligibility details here apply to 2026 admission. Applicants could be resident or non-resident Indian nationals, OCI or PIO holders. Separate NRI and foreign application routes were also available.

The regional aggregate concession covered Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Community or nativity proof was required.

The 2026 date-of-birth threshold was 1 July 2004 or later, supported by the Class 10 certificate. That date is not a confirmed 2027 age rule. Students completing their qualifying examination in 2026 could apply.

The programme list below is the 2026 Biology-route admission list. It applied to PCB/PCMB candidates taking BPCEA and also to PCB candidates taking MPCEA. Taking the Mathematics paper did not give a PCB candidate unrestricted access to all BTech courses.

Qualifying Examinations

The prospectus requires regular, full-time formal education with English as a subject. An unusual board or study route needs a route-specific answer from VIT; a recognised board name alone does not settle every condition.

Photograph, Signature and Form Details

Use a front-facing photograph with a white or off-white background, both ears visible and eyes open. The image should show one face without glare or blur. Sign in blue or black ink on white paper, then crop the signature image to the specified size.

Keep the name, date of birth and qualifying subjects consistent with school records. Native state, current-address state and school state affect which test cities can be selected. The test-city rules do not allow unrestricted choice of every city in India.

Application Fee and Payment Problems

The fee was non-refundable. VIT listed net banking, credit/debit cards and Paytm as payment options. If money was debited but confirmation was missing, the application FAQ asked candidates to wait an hour and revisit the same payment page.

For duplicate payments, VIT stated a refund window of five to seven working days. Keep both transaction references and use the application portal's Need Help option if the payment status remains unresolved. Missing the exam or slot-booking window does not make the application fee refundable.

Corrections and Slot Booking

The 2026 instructions did not offer student-side changes to a submitted test city. Native, current-address and school-state information also had a no-edit warning. Do not treat a possible support request as a guaranteed correction window.

After a complete application, slot booking selects an available date and session in OTBS. A booked city, date, slot or subject cannot be changed at the student's request. The admit-card guide explains why the booking confirmation and actual hall ticket are different documents.
