VITEEE 2022 Application Form: How to Apply Online?

The applications for VITEEE 2022 have already started from December 2, 2021. The interested candidates can apply online by checking the eligibility criteria carefully. The detailed VITEEE 2022 online application procedure is mentioned below.

Step.1 Registration 

• You need to register first for VITEEE 2022.
• For registration, visit the official website of VIT and click on the 'New User Registration ' tab.
• Enter the required credentials like name, parents/guardian name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, email ID, etc., and click on the submit button.
• You will get the registration number and password on your registered mobile number and email ID after a successful registration. You can also take a screenshot of the registration number and password. 
• This registration number and password will be used to login to access the application form.

Step.2 Fill Application Form 

• After registration, you can fill out the online application form using the registration number and password.
• Go to login and enter your registration number and password then click on login to fill the application on the form.
• You will be redirected to the application form. The required details to fill in the application form are mentioned below.
• Personal Details - The personal details are shown here as filled in the registration. You need to fill in other details.
• Parent's/Guardian Name - Enter your parent's/guardian name and their relation with you. 
• Educational Details - Enter your educational details carefully. Fill in the board/university name, regular/private status, medium of study, marks obtained, passing year/appearing. If you are appearing in the 12th class then enter roll number/registration number, name of the school, board name, expected result date, etc.
• Preferences of Institutes - Select the VIT campus where you want to get admission. You can prefer the institutes as per your choice and convenience.

Step.3 Application fees payment 

• After filling out the application form you will be redirected to the payment page.
• You can choose the payment method here (like net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI for online mode while bank challan, a demand draft for offline mode)) then click on proceed tab
• You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Enter your required credentials for making payment. Don't press the back or cancel button on the payment gateway and don't open other tabs also it fails the transaction.
• The application fees for both online and offline modes are mentioned below.

Step.4 Documents Upload 

• Here you need to upload the documents in the required size and format.
• Upload your recent colored photograph in jpeg format and file size should be between 10kb to 200kb.
• Upload your signature in jpeg format and the size should be between 10kb to 200kb.
• Upload your identity proof and educational qualification certificates in the required size and format.

After completing all the steps you can click on the final submit button. You can take a printout of the detailed application form for future use.

VITEEE 2022 Application form: How to Apply offline?

For offline applications, candidates can get an application form from VIT Campus or the designated post office by paying the application fees. Along with the application form you can get some other important documents like the VIT information brochure.

• You can get the complete kit with the application form by paying the application fees making a demand draft (DD) in favor of 'VIT University at Vellore.
• Another method of getting offline application form is by making DD in favor of 'VIT University payable at Vellore and the envelope should be addressed to the 'Director-UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore - 632014'.
• The candidates should be advised to fill out the application form carefully using a ball pen and make DD only on the name mentioned above. Your payment will get fail if any mistake is found in the DD. The application form is issued only after receiving DD.
• Candidates should write their full name, address, mobile number on the back of the demand draft. 
• The application form only is sent through speed or normal post. 
• Attach all the required documents along with the application form as mentioned in the information brochure. Any mistake in the application form results in rejection of the application.

Instructions to be followed while filling offline application form

• You should fill the OMR sheet carefully because sometimes the computer scanner may not read if any mistake is made in it.
• Use only a black ballpoint pen to fill out the application form. You need to fill in all the details in the English language in capital letters.
• You can use the pencil to fill the circles whenever required.
• Eraser can be used to erase the previous marked answer.
• Don't write anything on the barcode or not erase it.
• The photographs and other documents should be self-attested.
• You can take a photo of the filled application form for future use.
• Fold your application form with all the documents and keep it in the envelope mentioning the full address.
• You should take the receipt of the post office to check your consignment status.

VITEEE 2022 Application form for International students 

The foreign students are also eligible to apply for VITEEE. The students should check the eligibility criteria through the official website. The seats are offered to foreign candidates based on the marks in the qualifying exam, the number of seats available. They should pay the application fees in USD which is 50 USD.

After filling an online application form the candidates can also check their application status. The VIT provides an application status link after filling out the application form. The candidates can check their application status by visiting the official website of VIT. Here are the steps followed to check your application status. Follow the steps carefully to check your application status without any problem.

• Visit the official website of VIT University.
• Click on the 'VIT 2022 Application Status' link shown on the homepage of the website
• Candidates need to fill in their application number, password, and OTP to check application status
• Then click on the submit tab.
• Your application status will be shown on the screen.
• If the status shows accepted then your application is accepted successfully by the authority but if it shows rejected means your application is not accepted due to some error or other reason. Then you can contact the helpline number and email of the exam authority.

VITEEE 2022 Application Correction Window 

If the candidates made any mistake while filling out the application form the application correction window will be made available to do any changes or edit the application form. The candidates can edit their application form through the official website once the correction link is available. You can edit your application form by following the below-mentioned steps.

• Visit the official website of VIT.
• Click on the 'VITEEE 2022 Application Correction' link.
• Enter your application number, password, and verification code and click on the submit tab.
• Edit the details in the application form carefully.
• Check your application form carefully and verify all the mentioned details.
• Click on the final submit button.
• Download your edited application form and also you can take a printout of the same.
