Downloads and Answer Keys
Is a 2024 PDF also part of the 2023 paper?+
No. A paper from another year is a separate practice resource. The 2023 question and solution files are paired in the download table; the 2024 archive is available separately for another attempt.
Are the linked solutions an official VIT answer key?+
No. A publisher's worked-solution PDF is not a VIT-issued key or candidate response sheet. The table separates question downloads from the available answer resource. For samples without a matched key, no answer-key download is claimed.
Can these questions establish chapter-wise weightage?+
Not by themselves. A short recalled selection leaves out much of a shift, and a dated compilation does not establish how often a chapter appeared across sessions. Use the topic list to identify what you can practise in these files, not to predict a fixed number of questions in the next exam.
Attempt and Review
Should I score the file out of 125 or 500?+
Keep the marking scheme and question count together. A 125-question file scored at one mark per correct answer has a maximum of 125. Re-scoring the same 125 questions with the 2026 +4/-1 rule gives a maximum of 500, but a short set has a smaller maximum. Do not compare the two raw totals as though they used the same scale.
Will the three-question result predict my rank?+
No. It shows correct, wrong and unanswered responses and accuracy for the selected original questions. A three-question result cannot represent performance across the full paper or the other candidates needed for an entrance rank.
Can I retry only the questions I missed?+
Yes. After submission, Retry mistakes opens the incorrect and unanswered questions with a new set denominator. Restart restores all three questions. The worked explanations remain part of the answer review, not hidden official-paper answers.
