CLAT 2024 Question Paper PDF

The four booklets are separate 36-page PDFs. Keep the set letter with your answer record and use a matching key. The question booklet contains the original examination questions, not a rewritten current-year mock.

A printed total of 120 remains correct even though the evaluated maximum became 118. A withdrawal changes result processing; it does not remove the question from an already published historical booklet.

CLAT 2024 Section-wise Questions

The Set A sequence has 24 English, 28 Current Affairs and General Knowledge, 32 Legal Reasoning, 24 Logical Reasoning and 12 Quantitative Techniques questions. The Legal Reasoning block runs from question 53 to question 84.

These are the printed section counts. Do not replace them with the counts of retained questions after key corrections. A paper-structure table and a final-score table answer different questions.

CLAT 2024 Answer Key and Scoring

The CLAT 2024 result notification gives an evaluated UG maximum of 118. Two withdrawn questions explain the difference from the 120-question paper. A practice calculation intended to match the final key must remove the applicable withdrawn questions.

The highest UG score reported was 108. It is not a minimum qualifying score, an NLU cutoff or a target guaranteed to produce the same rank in another year. The PG paper had its own scoring record and should not be mixed with this UG total.

The downloads below contain the papers; they are not labelled as four complete worked-solution sets. Use the final key for the matching booklet when calculating a historical score, and keep the explanation review separate from the option list.

How to Practise with the 2024 Paper

This paper is a closer full-length reference for current preparation than the older 150- or 200-question papers because it has 120 printed questions and a two-hour duration. Its exact section counts still belong to 2024, not to every future examination.

Record the time spent reading each passage group as well as the time spent answering. A slow first question may include the reading needed for several later questions; judging each question in isolation can give a misleading picture of where time was lost.

For Quantitative Techniques, work through the complete data set before comparing answers. For Legal and Logical Reasoning, identify the decisive rule or conclusion and explain why the closest distractor fails. This produces a review you can use on a new passage, rather than a list of memorised letters.

CLAT 2024 Paper vs the Current Format

The current format also has 120 questions, but the published section shares are approximate. The 2024 split of 24/28/32/24/12 is an actual past distribution, not a guaranteed future allocation.

The CLAT previous-year paper archive includes other years for comparison. Choose the year and programme first; a postgraduate law paper is not an interchangeable UG practice test.
