CLAT 2024 fifth seal allotment list is out on May 28, 2024. You have to pay the confirmation fee to reserve the seat by May 31, 2024. Consortium of National Law Universities releases the seat allotment lists for CLAT 2024 on its official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2024.
- Note that, you only have the option the to "freeze or exit” process in the fourth and final rounds of allotment.
- Earlier, CLAT 2024 forth seat allotment list was out on May 20, 2024. You could complete the admission process by May 23, 2024.
- CLAT first seat Allotment List was out on December 26, 2024. CLAT second seat allotment list was out on January 8, 2024. CLAT 2024 third seat allotment list is out on January 22, 2024.

CLAT 2024 Counselling is conducted in five rounds. Through the CLAT counselling process, admission is provided on 2644 seats for UG Program, and 914 seats for PG Program offered by the 31 participating NLUs. Check CLAT Participating Colleges
Candidates who are allocated a seat need to submit their required documents and accept their seats before the last date. Failure to do so leads to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

CLAT 2024 Seat Distribution Categories
CLAT's total number of seats is distributed based on category reservations. Based on these classifications, NLU will reserve seats in each of the CLAT 2024 Participating Colleges. If you have a higher position on the merit list, you will be given first priority over other pupils.

CLAT 2024 Seat Allocation Process

Release of merit list
When the results are released, CLAT merit lists will be given for both UG and PG courses.
The following two factors are used to determine CLAT seat allocation:
- Your merit list position
- You indicated your preference for NLU when registering for CLAT.
Release of the invite list
Individuals who have been selected for counseling and seat assignment will be listed on an invite list with their names and admit card numbers provided by the exam organizers.
CLAT Counseling
A centralized web portal is used to administer the CLAT Counseling technique. It is held in two halves, one for undergraduates and one for graduate students. You will receive counseling letters if your name appears on the invite list.
You can get the call letter by logging into the CLAT official website. A registration fee of Rs. 50,000 will be required, which will be taken from the semester fee at the NLU to which you have been assigned. During counseling, you must produce all required papers without fail.
Release of seat allotment in multiple rounds
There will be three stages to the CLAT seat allocation process. After each round, the Consortium will release the CLAT Provisional List. Each NLU will receive its own seat allocation list. After the seat assignment, you have three options: accept the assigned seat, apply for an upgrade, or exit the procedure.
How to Register for CLAT 2024 Seat Allotments?
Candidates must register for CLAT 2024 Counselling in order to be considered for CLAT 2024 Seat Allotments.
- Shortlisted applicants who have been invited to apply for CLAT Counseling must complete an online application portal that will be available after the CLAT Results have been released.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation via text message to their registered phone number, which they will use to check in to the counselling website.
- Candidates must choose their preferred NLU. The candidates must have a minimum of five NLU preferences.
- Following that, as part of the registration process, candidates must pay the relevant fees.
- Candidates who have not completed the registration process will be disqualified from consideration for CLAT Seat Allotment in 2024.
How to Check CLAT 2024 Seat Allotment Results?
CLAT 2023 Seat Allotment Results can be viewed on the official website by candidates.
- Candidates should go to the official website and select CLAT 2024 from the drop-down menu.
- As soon as the seat allotment list is available, it will be posted on the website.
- Candidates can download seat allotment lists for each course they have applied for by clicking on the seat allotment list link.
What After CLAT 2024 Seat Allocation Results?
Candidates can pick from the following options after the CLAT 2023 Seat Allotment Results are released:
- Accepting CLAT 2024 Seats: Candidates have the option of accepting their seat allocation. Candidates will not be considered for future allotments if they accept their current offer.
- Candidates can apply for additional CLAT 2024 allotments if they reject their current allotment. Candidates must pay the allotment fee if they choose this option.
- Candidates have the option of rejecting and exiting CLAT 2024 Seat Allotment lists. Candidates will not be considered for future allotments if they pick this option.

Ques. How many NLUs take part in CLAT?
Ans. CLAT involves a total of 22 NLUs. CLAT is not offered at NLU Delhi.
Ques. What is the overall seat intake for the integrated law program at the NLUs?
Ans. The NLUs have 2622 seats available for integrated law programs.
Ques. How many seats does NALSAR Hyderabad have available in its 5-year integrated LLB program?
Ans. NALSAR, Hyderabad has 120 seats available for the 5-year BA LLB program.
Ques. In CLAT 2024, what types of questions will be asked?
