In India, there are many top private and public engineering colleges that accept JEE Main 2023. Among the top 31 NITS, and 26 IIITs some colleges accept students having low scores at JEE Main. Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) consists of two papers. Paper 1 is held for admission in UG courses like B.E/B. Tech at NITs, IIITs, and other top engineering colleges, and paper 2 is held for admission in B.Arch and B. Planning.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Colleges with JEE Main Scores?

There are various colleges in the state where a candidate can take admitted with a low rank in JEE.

Given below are the eligibility criteria of the colleges which accept low JEE Main scores.

  • Eligibility Criteria for IIITs: IIIT has some required criteria which candidates have to fulfill for admission to any IIIT college.
    • Students who want to take admitted to the B.Tech course must achieve 60 percent on the 12th board exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
    • Those students will be admitted to the IIIT college whose performance will be up to mark in the JEE Main exam and an interview conducted by IIITs.
  • Eligibility Criteria for NITs: Admission to NIT colleges is based on the performance of JEE Main exam and the need to fulfill all the educational qualifications requirements.
    • Candidates must have completed their 12th standard in the same year or within the previous two years.
    • Candidates must have the marks list of all the completed five subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject, Language, and any other subject; and they must pass the 12th exam or equivalent exam.

What is the Admission Process for Engineering Colleges with JEE Main Scores?

To take admitted to NITs, IIITs, and any engineering colleges candidates must fulfill all the requirements such as completely filled the application form, and pass in the 12th exam with 50% marks. Give below is the admission process for low JEE Main Scores in engineering colleges

  • Candidates must complete the online registration form.
  • Candidates must upload all the relevant documents and complete all the required conditions
  • Students must take a print of the form after successfully filling it out and paying for it.
  • Students who have been selected for counseling based on merit lists must register online in order to participate in the process.
