NEET 2026 Counselling participants need to take all original documents and their photocopies for document verification and college reporting. Candidates should carry the NEET 2026 admit card, scorecard, Class 10 & 12 certificates, valid photo ID, and seat allotment letter in original form for admission.

It is advised to take original documents and 2 or 3 self-attested photocopy sets during counselling and college reporting, respectively, to be on the safe side.
Candidates from the reserved category, State Quota, and NRI Quota are required to produce the prescribed certificates that are necessary for their category.
In case of any inconsistency or missing document, the allotted seat may be cancelled during verification of documents.

NEET 2026 Admit Card, Scorecard, and Seat Allotment Letter are mandatory documents that every candidate must carry in both original and photocopy for successful document verification.

Candidates must submit Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates in original along with self-attested photocopies.
A valid government-issued photo ID, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence.

Category Certificate Documents for NEET 2026 counselling

To qualify for the reserved seats during NEET 2026 counselling, SC and ST candidates need to produce a caste certificate issued by the competent authority.

Candidates who belong in the OBC-NCL and EWS category, at the time of verification of documents, should present a valid OBC-NCL/EWS certificate.
PwBD candidates must have a Disability Certificate issued by the authorized medical agency with them to qualify for reservation under the PwBD category.
Candidates applying under the 85% State Quota must submit a valid domicile certificate as proof of state eligibility for admission.
Candidates seeking admission under the NRI Quota must carry a passport, sponsorship affidavit, embassy certificate, and other prescribed documents specified by the counselling authority.
