Haryana stray-round vacancy breakdown

The October 17 tentative matrix contains 104 vacancies. Zollege calculated the course totals from the college rows: 83 are MBBS seats and 21 are BDS seats. The largest quota block is management, with 71 seats. The matrix also lists 13 open-category seats, seven NRI seats, five OSC seats and five SC Deprived seats, along with a small number of PwBD and ESM/FF vacancies.

Course Vacant seats
MBBS 83
BDS 21
Total 104

The highest college-level MBBS vacancies are at Sanskaram School of Medical Sciences, Jhajjar, with 27 seats; NC Medical College and Hospital, Panipat, with 14; Maharishi Markandeshwar College of Medical Sciences and Research, Ambala, with 13; and Al-Falah School of Medical Science and Research Centre, Faridabad, with 11.

Other MBBS vacancies include six seats at Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Chhainsa, five at World College of Medical Sciences and Research, two each at Adesh Medical College and SGT University, and one each at PGIMS Rohtak, BPS Government Medical College for Women and Maharaja Agrasen Medical College.

For BDS, the larger listed groups are seven seats at Yamuna Institute of Dental Sciences and Research and six at PGIDS Rohtak. The matrix is tentative. The authority can upload changes before allocation and has advised candidates to fill the maximum number of acceptable choices.

Who can participate?

  • New candidates can complete fresh registration during the October 17-19 window.
  • Candidates already registered in Haryana Rounds 1, 2 or 3 do not have to register again.
  • Registered candidates who were not allotted a seat in Rounds 1, 2 and 3 can use the choice-submission option in their login.
  • Candidates must meet the applicable Haryana MBBS/BDS admission rules and document requirements.

Who is not eligible?

A candidate allotted a seat in Haryana Round 3 cannot participate in the stray round. The notice also excludes candidates who joined any seat up to Round 3 through All India counselling or any state counselling.

The stray round carries a serious non-joining consequence. If a candidate receives a seat and does not join, the security amount will be forfeited and the candidate will not be eligible for a further round, if another round is conducted. Candidates should therefore include only colleges they are prepared to join.

Fee payment and college reporting

Candidates included in the provisional allocation must monitor the October 21 list and the grievance instructions. After grievance redressal, eligible allottees must pay the provisional tuition fee online through the admission portal by 8:00 PM on October 23. Payment through an unofficial channel should not be treated as valid.

A separate October 17 direction from Haryana DMER tells private medical, dental and allied-health institutions to follow the government-notified fee structure and not demand any unauthorised amount from students or parents. Candidates should retain the portal payment receipt and question any demand above the notified fee through the official authority.

The official counselling portal is uhsrugcounselling.com. Candidates should use the live portal for registration, choices, fee payment and allocation updates, and should also monitor the official notification page because the vacancy matrix and schedule may be revised.
