GATE CCMT 2024 counselling has three rounds. GATE CCMT 2024 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result is released on July 1, 2024. Qualifying candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee, document uploading, and withdrawal by July 4, 2024. The document verification will be completed by the authorities by July 5, 2024.
- Complete the partial admission fee payment online from July 6 to July 10, 2024.
- Before this, CCMT 2024 round 1 seat allotment was released on June 12 and CCMT 2024 round 2 was out on June 24, 2024.
- GATE CCMT 2024 counselling process is online. You must physically report to the allotted institute after the National Sport Round.
In case there are vacant seats after the three GATE CCMT counselling rounds then two more CCMT special counselling rounds are conducted to fill up the vacant seats. GATE CCMT 2024 is the gateway to provide admission in M.Tech to around 13388 seats at NITs, GFTIs, IIITs, CFTIs, and IIEST Shibpur.
There are two distinct GATE 2024 counselling processes i.e. CCMT and COAP. If you have qualified GATE Cutoff 2024 marks then you are eligible for GATE counselling. GATE 2024 Cut-Off will be released round-wise.

GATE CCMT 2024 Counselling Fees
You can pay the GATE CCMT fees via UPI, Debit Card, e-Challan, Credit Card, and Net Banking. Please refer to the table below for GATE CCMT Fees 2024:

GATE CCMT 2024 Counselling Process
Here is a step-by-step guide on the GATE CCMT 2024 counselling process. Please refer to the points below:
Phase 1: CCMT Registration, CCMT Choice Filling, and Choice Locking
- The entire process will be online.
- If you fulfill the eligibility criteria then you need to register on the CCMT Portal.
- Pay the required registration fees.
- Fill out the application form
- Select your choices in courses and institutes in the CCMT application form
- You can edit your choices anytime till the closure of the choice filling date. In case you do not save your choices before the deadline then your last selected preferences will be considered by the authorities.
Phase 2: CCMT Seat Allotment & Seat Acceptance Fee Deposit
- Based on the candidate choices and merit, he or she will be allotted a seat. You will need to check the result online at CCMT official portal.
- You will need to submit a fee of INR 30, 000 for your seat to be accepted.
- Once you accept the seat, you will need to take a printout of the seat allotment for verification.
Phase 3: Online CCMT Document Uploading and Submit Willingness
Once the seat acceptance fee is paid, the document upload option will be available for you in the portal. Upload the required documents.
Report to the allotted reporting centres on time. Take note of the next points.
Floating: If the candidate wishes to take part in the next rounds of counselling to upgrade his/her seat.
Freezing: If the candidate is happy with his/her result and does not wish to upgrade their seat.
Sliding: If you want to be considered for a better-preferred choice within the institute allotted to you.
Phase 4: CCMT Document Verification Online
- The documents will be verified by an officer of the institute that you are allotted to.
- If there is any discrepancy or error then the institute will forward a query to the candidate.
- You will need to submit supporting documents for such queries.
- If you fail to submit documents then your seat will be marked as Not-Reported. Your seat is then liable to be cancelled and you will also not be allowed to participate in the next round of counseling.
- You will be directed to an Online Document Verification Certificate (ODVC) once your documents are successfully verified.
Phase 5: Online Admission in the Finally Allotted Institute
- Once the verification is successfully done, then you will need to pay the remaining fees of the institute that you are assigned to.
- The seat acceptance fee will be deducted and you don’t have to pay extra.
- The candidates who will opt for special counselling rounds will need to pay the fees.
