GATE 2027 Mock Test Options

The practice block on this page contains original questions, not copied GATE PYQs. It checks selected aptitude and mathematics skills. A full mock needs the complete paper structure and duration, so its short-set accuracy is not labelled a GATE score.

NPTEL GATE Mock Registration and Timing

NPTEL's schedule began on 16 August 2026. The usual Sunday slot is 2 PM to 5 PM IST; January 2027 includes additional Saturday and Sunday dates. Register by Friday 5 PM for the upcoming Sunday test. Registrations after the cutoff move to a later test, and activation may take up to 48 hours after verification.

The supported branches listed include CE, EC, CS, EE, ME, CY, PH, BT, MA, XL and DA. The NPTEL practice account is separate from GATE 2027 registration; taking a practice test does not register you for the examination.

Full-paper Pattern and Marking

Check optional sections before choosing a mock. In 2027, Textile is XE9 within XE, so an old standalone TF paper does not reproduce the full current examination. The paper-pattern guide lists the current section choices.

How to Use the Attempt and Review Block

Choose a set, answer its questions and submit. If questions remain blank, the block asks whether you want to submit with those blanks. Review shows your choice, the correct answer and the explanation. An MSQ requires the full correct set.

Retry mistakes opens only the wrong or unanswered questions and uses that smaller denominator. Restart restores the full set. Changing an answer clears the previous result. Nothing in this drill converts a percentage into an official rank or score.

Review a Mock by Error Type

For complete practice, use previous-year GATE papers with the matching final key. If a concept remains unclear, the subject-wise book references provide the theory route rather than another test on the same unresolved error.
