Ques. Who scored 100 in GATE?
Ans. No one has ever scored perfect 100 marks in GATE. The highest-ever score was 98.33 scored in ME in 2015.
Ques. If GATE Toppers have scored the same marks then in that case what will be their ranks?
Ans. The score calculation involves score normalization for papers conducted in multi-sessions. The raw marks (for single-session papers) and normalized marks (for multi-session papers) are used for computing GATE scores (out of 1000) and GATE ranks are decided based on these scores.
Ques. What is the highest package of a GATE Topper?
Ans. The salary packages of GATE Toppers depend on many factors. Since the scores are also used for PSU recruitment, if a topper joins a PSU they can get INR 12-30 Lakhs per annum. However, if a GATE Topper prefers to join MTech at IIT or NIT, his/her salary package will depend on the performance in MTech and the job interview. GATE Toppers enjoy pretty good salary packages. Some of the top-paying PSUs include PGCIL, NTPC, ONGC, IOCL, GAIL, etc.
Ques. What GATE rank is required to get into PSUs like ONGC and IOCL?
Ans. Candidates must rank between 100-200 to be considered for a call from PSUs like ONGC and IOCL.
Ques. What are the mock tests and revision plans for CLAT Toppers?
Ans. Know here how CLAT toppers revised for their exam.
