GATE CCMT 2023 Counseling Registration process commenced on June 5, 2023, led by NIT Kurukshetra. Eligible candidates who have qualified in the GATE exam can register for GATE 2023 CCMT Counseling using their valid GATE 2023 scorecard. The process involves fee payment and online choice filling, which has already begun. The last date for GATE CCMT 2023 Registration is June 24, 2023.

The counseling registration will be conducted in three rounds by NIT Kurukshetra, with an additional two special rounds for any remaining vacant seats. This registration process is specifically for M.Tech admissions at NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, and GFTI, offering a total of 13,388 seats.

During GATE CCMT Counseling 2023, the candidate's scores and the cutoffs of the respective institutes will be considered. Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 3,000. If candidates wish to participate in the special round, an additional fee of Rs 3,000 is applicable.

How to Register for GATE CCMT 2023 Counseling?

To register their name for GATE CCMT 2023 Counseling candidates need to follow these steps which are given below:

• Online Application Form: First candidates need to visit the official website. After that candidates need to fill out the application form with the required details such as educational qualifications, mobile number, email address, etc. Candidates need to create a password at the time of registration which will be used in future admission processes. the registration fee is Rs 3000
• Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates need to fill the choices in online mode as per their preference for GATE CCMT 2023 Counseling. Candidates should opt for the choices order of preference and lock the choices before the deadline.
• Seat Allotment of GATE CCMT 2023: seat allotment process of GATE CCMT 202 will be online. Candidates will be allotted their seats according to their merit of GATE score and as per the choices filled by candidates in CCMT counseling 2023. Candidates need to check the allotted seat on the candidates portal of CCMT 2023.
• Fee Deposit for Seat Acceptance: After the seat allotment candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fees in online mode. The seat allotment fee for GATE CCMT 2023 is Rs 30,000 for general-category students.
• The physical presence of Candidates at reporting center: Candidates need to report physically at the nearest reporting center for document verification and specifying their willingness towards acceptance or rejection of the seat allotted to them.
• Verification of Documents: Candidates need to carry all the required documents to the reporting center. Documents should be in original and at least two Xerox copies of each document.
• Freezing: Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted institute can freeze the seat and take admission.

GATE CCMT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Only qualified candidates in GATE CCMT 2023 will be eligible for the GATE CCMT 2023 counseling process. The eligibility criteria are listed below:

• Valid score of GATE CCMT(2021/2022/2023)
• Candidates must graduate with 60% marks from a recognized university or a CGPA of 6.5
• If the result is still in waiting, in that case, candidates need to present valid proof of the document by the pre-final semester of that year at the reporting center during document verification.
