IIM Indore has recently published a revised admission policy for the PGP 2026-28 batch. The new policy significantly alters the criteria for school-level academics, CAT sectional performance, interview outcomes and work experience component. As per the policy, aspirants must appear for CAT 2025 exam and meet the minimum sectional and overall percentile cut-offs to be eligible for consideration.

Ques: What are the stages involved in the IIM Indore selection process 2025?

Ans: IIM Indore selection process involves three stages:

  1. Eligibility Criteria
  2. Shortlist for Personal Interview (PI)
  3. Final Selection

IIM Indore's overall acceptance rate is roughly 0.19%. In 2024, out of nearly 1.60 lakh applicants from the general category, only 215 were finally selected, which is about 0.12%.

The first stage of IIM Indore selection process is satisfying the eligibility criteria. IIM Indore may verify the eligibility of candidates at various stages of the selection process. Therefore, just fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee consideration for the IIM Indore shortlisted candidates. The eligibility criteria details are tabulated below:

Ans: Being fresher, you will receive zero points for work experience in the shortlisting process. However, you can score well in the final selection via other parameters like PI and CAT Cutoff.

IIM Indore Admission Policy: Final Selection Criteria

The third and final stage for IIM Indore admission is - Final Selection stage. Only those candidates who satisfy the requirements in the eligibility criteria and Shortlisting for PI stage will be considered for final selection.

A category-wise merit list will be published as per the final composite score.
