CAT 2022 Updates:

CAT 2022 IIM Raipur Cutoff and Selection Process will be released on the official website. For taking admission in the IIM Raipur, the qualifying Cut off for CAT 2022 Exam is 93 percentile for General Category and 74 percentile for reserved category.

  • Admission Process for IIM Raipur includes mainly 2 stages. The first stage involves the shortlisting of the candidates for personal interview. The second stage involves the creation of the final merit list which is based on various parameters.
  • Weightage of some parameters is known such as work experience, CAT Scores, personal appearance is 8, 35, and 35 respectively.
  • Candidates can check academic and gender diversity for CAT Cutoff 2022 as it will also be considered during the selection process of candidates.

IIM Raipur CAT 2022 Cut Off Admission Criteria

IIM Raipur admission 2022 is based on 2 stages. First stage is shortlisting of candidates for personal appearance (PA), and the second stage is final selection. Final Selection of all the candidates is done on the basis of Final composite score for various categories including General, NC-OBC, EWS, SC, & ST Category. 

Stage 1 - Shortlisting candidates for Personal Appearance (PA)

  • Applicants will be shortlisted for the admission process on the basis of CAT 2022 Scores for the next stage.
  • Mainly there are three sections in the exam of CAT 2022 including QA, DILR, VARC and it also includes overall percentile for shortlisting candidates. These are the minimum percentile required in each section which is mentioned in the table given below.

Stage 2 - Final Selection

The Final Selection in IIM Raipur is done on the basis of the final composite score, whose calculation is based on the following three parameters:

  • CAT score: 35%
  • PA Score: 35%
  • Profile Score: 30%

IIM Raipur Shortlisting Criteria

A list of all the participants will be prepared for those candidates who have been selected for PA round which is based on their percentile score in CAT Exam for IIM Raipur. To become eligible for getting shortlisted for next round, all the candidates need to fulfil a specific admission criteria laid down by the institute. Candidates need to qualify the sectional cutoff and the overall CAT cutoff to become eligible for this round.

Every candidate deemed eligible (as per the above table) may or may not be able to find a place in the shortlist cutoff. The above cutoffs are indicative only. They can also be higher in actuality in accordance with the performance of the candidates.

  • Decision for the number of candidates to be called for the Personal Appearance (PA) round as per the merit and category of the candidates will be taken by the admission committee.
  • If the desired number of candidates would not qualify for the Personal Appearance (PA) round, then the cutoff may undergo changes.
  • A common process of WAT and PI has been started by the new 9 IIMs.
  • If there is any candidate who has appeared for the Personal Appearance (PA) round in any of the older IIMs, then the candidate may be exempted from appearing in that round as the older IIMs will share their scores of WAT and PI rounds with that institute.

For the Personal Interview (PI) round, candidates will have to appear in front of a panel. That panel generally includes a number of 2 members. In that interview, the interviewer will ask various questions about the academic profile, quality of work and personal characteristics from the candidates.

IIM Raipur Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal

Batch size for MBA Program at IIM Raipur is 350 candidates. An offer letter by the institute will be sent to the candidates. Admissions to those candidates will be offered on the basis of CAT score, PA round, and profile.

Acceptance Fee: The candidates have to send an Offer Acceptance form if they want to accept the offer, only after getting the offer. The Offer Acceptance form is to be submitted along with an acceptance fee of INR 50,000. This acceptance fee of INR 50,000 will be adjusted with the fees of the first Term.

Withdrawal: The candidates can also withdraw the paid amount before their registration if they do not want to take admission but it will be given only after the deduction of processing charges of INR 10,000. The money will be refunded only before registration. After the registration of the candidates, no refund will be given to the candidates.
