- Footwear: Candidates are not allowed to wear any closed footwear or thick-soled shoes. Easy-to-remove and wear shoes are appreciated as CAT 2026 dress code.
- Clothes: According to the CAT 2026 dress code, you will not be allowed to enter the halls if you have a dress with a pocket, regardless of its size. Any dress you are comfortable in is allowed, and light colour is appreciated.
- Marks or Makeup: This is mostly for female candidates. You won't be allowed if any unnatural marks, mehendi, tattoo, or makeup are on your body. It will directly lead to disqualification. - Others: No metal jewellery is allowed inside. No caps, jackets, closed shoes, or large button clothing are allowed. No face mask is allowed as well.

The dress code prohibits any shiny outfit or part heels, with a natural look as the CAT 2026 dress code.
- Female students will not be allowed if they have any shiny, layered, lace, frills, or any colourful dress.
- No heavy makeup, mehendi, tattoos, or nail art is allowed. Enter with a natural look.
- Any jewellery, including hair clips, nosepins, bangles, naklets, earrings, or any other metallic accessories, will not be allowed inside.
Male Candidates- CAT 2026 Dress Code

- Heavily painted clothes or printed clothes will directly be terminated.

CAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
You will be required to follow the CAT 2026 dress code and a few more rules already mentioned on your admit card.
- Candidates should reach the test centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
- Make sure to know the location or set a GPS link from the Google Maps link mentioned on the admit card.
- Carry 2 printed admit cards on A4-size sheets. No digital copies or photocopies will be allowed.
- A rough pad will be given to you on the exam day; thus, no need to carry it with you. Do carry a pen only.
- Once the test centre is allotted, you cannot change it further.
- Not following the CT 2026 dress code will automatically lead to disqualification, and you will not be allowed to enter as well.
