CAT 2025 Question Paper PDFs

CAT 2025 papers are organised by slot and section. Choose VARC, DILR or QA for a sectional attempt. A section PDF is not a complete three-section mock, even when a cover includes full-exam totals.

Keep all three sections from the same slot together for a full-paper attempt. For chapter practice, a single section is enough; record the year, slot and question number alongside each mistake.

Answer choices and solution explanations serve different purposes. A selected response on a response-sheet copy is the candidate’s choice, not necessarily the correct answer. Match a key to the same year, slot and question numbering before using it to score an attempt.

CAT 2025 Paper Structure

The 2025 structure had 68 questions. That historical count does not establish how many questions will appear in CAT 2026.

CAT 2026 has three timed sections: VARC, DILR and QA, with 40 minutes per section for standard-time candidates. You cannot transfer unused time to another section. The official FAQ does not disclose the number of non-MCQs. Use the current instructions for a 2026 simulation, not an old PDF’s cover totals.

What Can You Practise from CAT 2025?

For QA, compare the setup with your calculation. A wrong base in a percentage problem or a missed domain restriction can produce a neat answer that does not solve the question. Record that cause separately from an arithmetic slip.

For DILR, review the shared set before the individual answers. If the initial table or arrangement is wrong, several answers may fail for the same reason. For VARC, return to the sentence that supports the answer and explain why the closest distractor goes too far.

These are practice observations from the linked material, not an official chapter-wise weightage forecast. A topic appearing in one slot does not reserve a fixed share of the next exam.

How to Score and Review an Attempt

For CAT 2026-style practice: award 3 marks for a correct response, deduct 1 for a wrong MCQ, and deduct nothing for a wrong non-MCQ or an unanswered question. Keep MCQ and typed-answer mistakes separate when calculating a raw total.

For example, 14 correct responses and 5 wrong MCQs give 14 x 3 - 5 = 37 raw marks. Wrong non-MCQs do not add another deduction. This arithmetic is a practice score, not an official scaled score or percentile.

Use CAT score calculation for the distinction between raw marks and result processing. Do not attach a fixed percentile to one old-paper score; the test, slot and candidate pool matter.

A Short Practice Set Before the Full Paper

The practice set below contains original CAT-style questions with answers hidden until submission. It is separate from the linked past papers. Submit your responses, read the explanations and retry the mistakes before returning to a longer sectional attempt.

Treat the set’s accuracy as feedback on those questions only. A few correct answers cannot measure readiness for the entire CAT paper or predict an admission outcome.
