CAT 2022 Updates:
- IIM CAP 2023 Registration started on 12 January 2023.
The selection process for IIM Calcutta candidates will be scheduled shortly after the release of the IIM Calcutta CAT 2022 cutoff. The minimum expected IIM Calcutta CAT 2022 Cutoff is 85, 70, and 65 percentiles respectively for general, SC, and ST category candidates. Some of the key points of the IIM Calcutta CAT cutoff and selection process include
- Candidates will be judges based on the IIM Calcutta CAT 2022 cutoff and other parameters including academic performance, gender diversity, etc.
- WAT round has been scrapped which has increased the weightage of PI round to 48
- Weightage given to the CAT score is 30.
- There will be a weightage of 2% for the gender diversity factor.
- Gender diversity factor will only be applicable for the pre-PI selection list and will not carry any weightage in the final selection list.

IIM Calcutta CAT 2022 Cut Off & Selection Process
Shortlisting process of candidates for IIM Calcutta admission 2022 will be based on different stages as discussed below.
Stage 1: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the CAT 2022 result and other parameters such as education performance and gender diversity.
Stage 1-(a): Minimum CAT 2022 Cutoff to be Considered for PI
In this stage, candidates must meet the minimum CAT 2022 cutoff percentiles to be considered for the PI shortlist. The expected IIM Calcutta CAT 2022 cutoff is mentioned in the table below

Stage 1-(b): Shortlisting for PI Round
Candidates who meet the requirements mentioned above, will be shortlisted for PI round based on the composite score of the parameters and their weights as specified in the table below.
After obtaining the combined points, composite cutoff percentiles will be determined in each category for shortlisting candidates for stage 1-(b). The number of candidates will be shortlisted for PI in each category depending on the size of the incoming group and will be done at the whole discretion of the institute.

- Candidates who will be appearing in the previous stage, the authority will calculate a composite score using different parameters and corresponding weights
- Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the composite scores as mentioned in the below table.

- Maximum of 8 points will be given to the work experience based on the experience in months.
- Only marginal work experience after a UG degree will be considered
- Project work, training, or work done during UG as part of the degree will not be considered.

IIM Calcutta Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a valid CAT 2022 score.
- Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates.
- If the candidate’s marks are in CGPA, or other grades, the conversion of grades to percentage will be based on the procedure certified by the respective university.
- If the institution doesn’t have any conversion process, then the grade will be converted to a percentage by multiplying the maximum CGPA by 100.
- Students who are in their final year of UG degree or are awaiting results after completing bachelor's degree requirements are also eligible.

The selection process for admission to LNMU varies depending on the course:
